I suppose I technically should request that Eggman Hates Furries be assigned the "Fangame" type, even though that's already pretty obvious from its inclusion in the "Sonic Fan Games" series.
Technically the third-level location field is used for a few things other than "City", including "Island" and "Province".
By my reckoning, ~25% of current users specify no location data at all. Third-level location fields are available to ~54% of current users to which second-level location fields are available (itself ~81% of current users). Of these, ~13.5% (more than 1 in 8) of these current users have elected to specify the third-level location field. The average number of current users per third-level location is 45, compared to an average of 276 current users per second-level location. Fourth-level location fields (of which there are 3) are used by ~72% of current users to which they are available, and have an average current user population of 51. (These statistics count England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales as sub-countries of the UK, and not as first-level location field countries. They also count the Åland Islands as a region of Finland. These statistics would be a bit different if you were to count these five entities as first-level location field countries instead. It also doesn't take into account how many current users set up their location without specifying higher-level location fields because they were not available at the time, which I cannot ascertain.)
I don't consider this amount of usage to be insignificant, personally, and removing them would delete 196 unique third-level locations from the profiles of almost 9000 current users (~3.2% of the userbase) who sought to broadcast their municipal pride. I think the higher-level location fields would see more usage if they were easier to add. As it is, the "Edit profile" page doesn't have any sort of link or information on how to request them, and indeed, it is not clear how one should be requesting them at all. Ideally, users would just be able to specify "Add new sub-location..." in a dropdown, fill in a "Name" text input field (and also "Type" if there aren't any other existing sub-locations to have been categorized), and automatically have it submitted for moderator approval when they click "Save" (only displaying it on the user's page if it gets approved).
By the way, the string for "Indianapolis" has a zero-width space character between 'd' and 'i' for seemingly no reason.
I would like to request Super Moderator privileges for the Eggman Hates Furries game page: https://www.speedrun.com/Eggman_Hates_Furries I submitted a world record speedrun a week ago, but the current Super Moderator (and the game's only moderator and runner) has not logged into this site for 18 months. Attempts to contact them through other social media proved difficult, because I couldn't find any online accounts that appeared to have been recently used or logged into. After finding an active invite link for a Discord server they appeared to be associated with, I had a... disturbing exchange with its members, which also explained why I could not find them online anywhere under their seemingly now-abandoned identity: https://imgur.com/EnA0uYN
If changing a game's URL can only be done by site staff, I would also like to request that the game's URL be changed to https://www.speedrun.com/ehf (lowercase abbreviation).
