I would assume it does not but I don't see a need for pausing in the run.
I don't know. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, after I get sub 3 on gun slime, I will speedrun this game for WR. I'll see if I can get it to be consistent.
Right now, in the Training Cave leaderboard, brawlers of all power levels with star powers and gadgets are allowed. My suggestion is adding a category for level 1 brawlers only. This way, the leaderboard is accessable to everyone (on a new account, you can click "try" on brawlers you haven't unlocked yet and they will be level 1 in training cave).
If a moderator could put the link in guides and or the game rules, that could be useful
Right now, there are 16 levels (ammo hills - 1, ammo hills - 2, etc.). Each level has four variables (ammo hills%, gunpowder cave, deagle dreamland, mt. combustion). This leaves 64 leaderboards. Can someone delete these variables so there is 16 leaderboards?
But there are 64 total leaderboards, not 16. For example, there is an ammo hills - 1 ammo hills%, ammo hills - 1 gunpowder cave, ammo hills - 1 deagle dreamland, and ammo hills - 1 Mt. Combustion.
You could leave your game on over the course of a week and play five or so hours a day... Maybe for longer runs there could be a sleeping break where the timer would pause. That is the case for BOTW 100% I think.
Edit: Just checked, there a up to 3 breaks in an 18 hour period for Breath of the Wild 100%
Individual levels. It shows four categories for each level
When I go the the IL leaderboard, it shows four categories for each level. Which one do I submit my runs in?
Ah, my bad. I was putting in the frame where you get medal 8 on the screen where it shows all the medals, not when you receive the medal on the level complete screen.
How are we retiming runs? Are we using Slush Puppy's retime tool ( https://github.com/Slush0Puppy/retime ), an online retimer ( https://slashinfty.github.io/yt-frame-timer/ ), or something else? I compared a recent run I did with the current WR side by side. WR was about 1.5 seconds faster than me. However, when I retimed my run using https://slashinfty.github.io/yt-frame-timer/ , my time was 3:30. The starting frame was when I pressed "z" and ending frame was when I received the level 8 medal on the final screen.
I added email verification to my account. It should work now.
Right now, the rules say timer starts when you on the level. This works fine but it means when ever you want to reset, you need to exit to the main screen instead of pressing the restart button. Would it be okay to change the rules so timing begins on the first frame of movement?
