Hey, I encountered the same problem. However the issue is that in the drop down box it doesn't show the option of emulator for me at all. It just shows N64, VC for Wii and VC for Wii U. Currently my emulator run got verified on the N64 leaderboard instead of on the Emulator leaderboard aswell.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just editted the run it shows a dropdown platform box on there twice I guess I missed the other drop down box at first, submitted it to the EMU leaderboard now instead
