Yeah you're right, it was rng modified before it became mandatory to use the rng mod. I changed it to "Yes".

I believe the waves are just randomly ending (probably also depends on the map), so speedrunning them would just be about who could be the luckiest, at which point the category would be meaningless. (but again, I don't exactly know how the wave length works)

I think this discussion is off the table anyway as the new update ruined the "Mod options" button

When we were fighting over Murky Station coop WRs with the other crew, I spent 50+ hours on the heist in a week, I ate very little, almost didn't even sleep... We already had rng modifier... getting those times would have taken about 500 hours without it... I don't want to waste months on stupid no-brain-just-luck rng, thanks but no thanks.

This thread originates from the comments on my Undercover botless record I got, nasuper is highly against Speedrunning mod and calls me out on most of my vids for using it, even though he has the option of not using it if he doesn't want to.

I don't think that's necessary, there's like 9 runs on the leaderboards, I'm fine with losing my WRs/runs there. New categories will only make the site more cluttered with empty boards which would need downpatching to get new records in.

I agree, they should be checked out.
