Where could I get the splits for the run?

Im sorry to burden you with my questions and not knowing I just love the game and wanna try setting things up, I asked my roommate to help me understand and he said you mean its ok to do under a category But I am really dense.

or is it two different things im not sure what all the things are for this

If emulation is ok on pc or a virtual console on other stuff how would the wii U be much different outside of preference?

that's the thing Im saying, its the ds emulator on the wii u console. I figure it would be easier to record capture of the game that way.

I would also like to run snowboard kids 2 off the wii U emulator if that is allowed

I am really new to all this stuff and I have read into the category rulings for Sands of Destruction, being the game I am wanting to run, I looked into the runs for it and they were on ds and 3ds but I figured out a way to run it on emulator on the wii U and I was curious if that was a legitimate way to go about running for speed runs. I figured I could plug the wii U into the capture card and it would be better than recording a DS in my hands and such. I reached out to the people who are moderation for the category and have gotten no response. Please let me know peeps

Is it allowed to submit runs made on the wii U. If so I found a way to get it to work on the wii U and I really would want to start speed running this game in particular
