Unfortunately, we have not been able to accurately pinpoint how to make the shots with the tranq or stunner be as accurate as possible. Like many Genesis games, especially the point and click ones on the CD, have wonky hit boxes. If you watch Brando and Ustra’s runs, you will see that they never shoot in the same areas when they do their attempts, they each have kind of “felt out” the hitboxes when doing multiple playings and those are what work for them. That being said, sometimes you can grab items in the area way above where you think there hitbox would be, use this same logic when applying the tranq and stun gun. Sort of aim towards the areas you think the hitbox would extend out to and see what sticks or not. Hope this helps!
I am writing to request mod roles for Batman Forever (snes and SEGA Genesis). The current mod was last online 1 year ago. I do not wish to spend the next month trying to contact them in hopes they actually come back to a site they haven’t been on in over a year. If you could please respond at your earliest convenience, I would greatly appreciate it!

The reason why story mode has not been listed is because the potential for someone to splice is too high. In story mode your lives are reset every new level so someone could potentially go through and get the best IL levels in story mode and splice together all their best IL’s into one run. Arcade is literally story mode just no reset of values every new level. If you’ve been running story mode it should be pretty easy to transition over to Arcade. As far as your input on the board layout, we had something similar the first day and many people complained. What you have now is a board based off of the comments and concerns of the community within the first day of the board being open. We are almost always here for constructive criticism, but, as you know, we are all human beings and we all have lives outside of this, and we are doing this all in our free time; if we don’t respond immediately it’s not because we don’t like criticism, it’s because most of us are out working, paying our bills, living with our families and dealing with everything else going on in the world right now. Thanks for your time. Try arcade. You’ll have fun if you’ve been doing story mode, trust me.
Of course they aren’t all close. But at the same time in the right players hands it can be close; also no one’s stopping anyone from using different characters and submitting them. Just have fun with it Pikachu!
I think you’re severely wrong seeing as I’ve seen Antho do runs with Floyd.
Lmfao “you make this game speedrun on Adam or go away” it’s not like we took away the option for you to choose which character you chose. Sorry some characters aren’t the fastest. What do you want a speedrun or challenge run?
Yes, this includes the Hell stage in the carnival. And yes you have to do all the alternate path levels as well. Good luck gettin those masks and have fun in Castlevania ;)
Tried to join and it said the invite was expired??
Aye, if you need another mod for this, I am more than willing to help. I love this game and your recent changes to the board and overall enthusiasm for it, inspired me to run it. Keep up the good work Sm_Izumi. This LB is one of the cleanest ones now.
I actually attempted to do this as run material a year ago. I've yet to complete a run due to negligence on my own behalf, and a few things I've encountered along the way. One thing to note, I use a model 1 genesis and do the six button mode with two controllers as described above. It's a very good run to attempt, what I've found is to follow the any% route just minus the kunai glitches.
I almost always run slash through the whole thing. Not only does this give Joe Musashi a lot of invincibility frames, but you can easily mash the sword button without movement to take care of a lot of enemies in the way. Alternatively you can jump/jump kick a route to not kill enemies but I find it easier to slash away. You will never lose the POW buff from bumping into enemies even if you miss a slash and start that animation. Only other point is to heavily use the self-destruct ninjitsu, so you gotta pick up lives when you can. Not only do you need to use it twice in Electric Demon 1, but if you lose a POW during a boss fight its a good backup strat to slash away with your daggers until you're almost dead then destruct them. NEVER use the lightning shield when fighting the ninja master during the second phase. Twice I've gone to use it right when the music changes over and he flips through the doors, it softlocks joe musashi to the ninja master. Run killer. Other than that, I seem to get around the 35 minute mark near the end. So, to each their own on a route unless it gets more solidified in the near future. Hope this picks up would be fun to get more people doing it!
