I feel like most Mineplex games have a high proportion of cheaters tbh
As an option to fix the cheating aspect they could probably require that set of mods which Zorty made which allows them to detect whether someone is doing something illegitimate or not. However, that is equivalent to requiring f3 to be active in all runs: annoying and arbitrary

They have to take suspicion seriously. It's literally their job. It's not like they are allowed to ¤think¤ that someone is cheating to call them cheating. That is the why the past proofs are considered not enough.
-
They are right in that stuff like this isn't the business of everyone in the community; if you're going to claim someone a cheater, don't do it publicly like that, do it privately with the mods. You're only going to get people mad at you, and that's not their faults.

If you would have actually read tac's message you would have seen that in no way was he automatically siding with Sparrow, as he specifically said "However I do understand that you might feel suspicious about someone who isn't too well known suddenly getting world records." Also I don't think it's essentially "liking" him, it's just that he's already been basically bullied once so he has authentic victim status, which we don't use to determine if he's trustworthy but we use as a factor.

If you're going to accuse someone, bring proof or at least a reason. You can have the opinion, but if the opinion is only backed by "I think so", it's not likely going to be considered.

To Nrrillinthas, that's what happens when it's a public speedrun that almost any Mineplex player can stumble upon. We can't do anything about it. We just need to take our time and only ban the people we are certain of.
(Also, any time I used "we" I meant "they" because this isn't my job anymore. I'm just saying stuff)

I like how you say that like it's the mods faults lmao
For the second one I can tell he walked on the 2nd block
Not defending him entirely (I know who he is) but if you're gonna get someone for cheating it's gotta be solid
You don't mention parties for within the day and then expect people to join from it lmao
If you press your console key when the loading bar at the bottom left corner has 2-3 circles left, it'll open console on first tick. You can also use an autorecorder (If you want it it's here: https://github.com/NeKzor/Portal2AutoRecord/releases)
To clarify (Jamer didn't say nearly enough lmao):
A vote was made on the Portal 2 speedrunning discord about "if someone were to become srcom mod, who would it be" and Msushi won. We've decided this may be necessary because as of right now most mods are quite inactive (they don't verify runs very often except a couple (who are still inactive at points)), and that is why the poll was made. We didn't fully expect that the poll would result in someone getting mod, but if someone does get mod out of this, it should be Msushi.
Vote results if one of the mods wants validation of this fact: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10fHleaksdFbsAIqqgfIk7lHI_lI7AZFNUvyDuGh_hJ0/edit#gid=1398910872 (According to the system used, the first row represents two point (first priority) and the other rows are one point. Msushi won vs me by one point (18 v 17 v 7 for Msushi v Fatman v Gaming))
We would probably also be fine with you adding almost anyone else or becoming a bit more active when it comes to run verification, but otherwise seeing Msushi become mod would be favorable.
It may take "yes" out of supermajority but with this considered I highly doubt "Yes" will leave majority
I was just asking, of course they wouldn't be integrated if they were different (I don't open Minecraft much anymore but I still read the forums for ¤unknown¤ reasons so I didn't know better)
Is there a difference between achievements and advancements in terms of what's included in them? If not you could probably just run all achievements in 1.12 despite the fact that it's called "advancements"
Sounds arbitrary (although a lot of categories are like that tbh xd)
