I would like to discuss how are we gonna time ILs. My proposition is the first frame to the last one, including miliseconds.
Just use the faster version - problem solved. There is no need to create separate categories.
I strongly disagree with allowing to skip any gameplay in a speedrun. Fallout 4 community already tried to do a similar thing and they ended up with a new subcategory, but luckily they kept "full any%" as the main one.
If you allow it, other communities might start doing the same, arguing that this community already does it.
Are you talking about getting all secrets or all secrets + all kills? Did you test if the in-game counter works properly? In classic versions of TFE/TSE, there are several buggy spawns, so you can't technically get 100% in those games. Chance is there are similar bugs in HD versions.
It only works in fullscreen in D3D mode. Just wait for the cricket sound to begin, alt-tab to Windows, and then return back to the game when postal dude/his wife stops talking, usually in the middle of a sentence. Btw, there is a new patch coming soon which will allow us to skip these cutscenes entirely, so this trick will only be required for "piss on dad" cutscene as it's the only one which saves time.
Just because you don't have to enter "prince megahit" doesn't mean it's not a cheat. Just my opinion.
It's still a cheat as it's the same button combination for skipping any level with "prince megahit".
Wasn't the speed patch of GoG version done unofficially? I know they fixed it on Steam version, which could be "official.
Not to mention we will be able to skip the end-of-the-day cutscenes.
This game has a nasty bug that makes the in-game timer go wrong.

So when you do IL runs, make sure to not cross the 15 minute mark. Of course this is not possible for all ILs as some take longer than 15 minutes. These will probably be timed using real time.
We will retime every IL that has this timebug.

I would like to request these platforms:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amiga_CD32 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_ST https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acorn_Archimedes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amstrad_CPC https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZX_Spectrum
I've just recently requested Lotus game series and some games were released on these platforms.
Discord is mainly chat. Kinda like modern IRC.
You don't have to delete anything, we can just retime it if the bug doesn't affect the gameplay. I will test that today in Carbon (the bug is there as well). Btw, you might want to join our discord server, not many people go here ;)

We still don't know if it affects the actual gameplay, but since many records on youtube have [No timebug] in the description, I think we can assume it doesn't.
