Out of Bounds - you "escape" the level using glitches.
OK, thanks :)
EDIT: I'll also add individual levels, but I gotta go now as well.
EDIT2: Levels added. I'll start adding the fastest known record tomorrow.
I also added an option for coop runs since there's already one being encoded - made by 8 guys.
Tezur0: Do you think you could also make me a mod for SSHD and SS2?
The "thread" ImFuryPro mentions is SDA's Knowledge Base. However, the rules there are not very detailed and I personally believe that ImFuryPro simply misinterpreted them. It would not be the first case, I've seen such runs before.
Tezur0: Using Playing Time as a timer is imho not a good idea since this game has a perfect IGT. If anything, you could add real time as another time, but it's imho not necessary and actually even contraproductive since Playing Time probably counts loading screen, which have different lenght depending on your PC.
If I can suggest couple things to the mods:
- Move ImFuryPro's runs to segmented category
- Set "always show" rules
- Add a rule to show final stat screen for proof of doing the run in one sitting
I didn't see or hear any of the stuff you mentioned, but the playing time is indeed there. Runs from other guys are only about a minute longer than IGT, so it's very suspicious.
I would try to contact the runner and let him know of this. I'm curious what he has to say.
I'm up for it :) I used to manage ssdq.org with TheVoiid, so I know a thing or two about SS games.
RP3 format is a replay file, it's not a video. I didn't bother making videos as basically all of my records are not final and unfortunately the game doesn't work well on my PC in direct 3d mode (which you have to use to record, I play in software), but apparently JessicaSix will record these runs, so it will be added in a couple days.
Youtube is fine and personally I prefer it over twitch. Also, please post directly in the specific game's forum, because we get no notification when someone posts in the general game's series forum. Hopefully admins will solve this issue in future.
Can't see anything wrong with it :)
Anyone watched this video? This guy apparently did The Run, U1 and MW speedruns. It's sub 3 hours, so it's probably not complete.
Discrepancy means any discrepancy, on-screen or not.
If it's a segmented run, then the leaderboards need a new variable or category to differentiate RTA from segmented runs.
Like I said, the cutting should be done during loading screen, even if you stop recording after the little intro cutscene, unless there is be some discrepancy issue like showing a cutscene only for the first time etc.
Follow these simple rules:
-Do not cut anything you'd normally see in RTA run -There must be no discrepancies between segments, visible by a viewer or not
15 segments wouldn't be that much slower imho, but it makes no sense when you're already going to do a segmented run.
"You should show sometimes your points in the option menu, because we can never see your points"
Do it only if it doesn't slow the run. I'm not sure we should require additional proof of correct segment order.
Uncut videos showing the points would probably solve any doubts, but it's up to you if you want to invest even more time into this run than you have to, Seven. Although JessicaSix is a bit more sceptic than me, so you rather should do it :)
I'm leaving tomorrow for two weeks, so I won't be able to watch.
Yes, that's what I thought it might be possible. Kinda like copying a folder on PC. I just don't know how it works on x360. I've never owned a console :)
Can't you backup the save on x360 on a HDD or something like that?
You'll receive "pending action" right next to your nickname. Then you just click on "runs awaiting verification", watch the run, and if it's okay you click on "verify". If not, use "reject" button.
I have no idea what you are talking about :)
