We respected the fact the a culture of players outside our own dont consider it cheating, but when one of our own bring its into ours then were going to have a problem with it specially when there has been actually no set ruling for this kind of thing, we want to make sure that all the right rules are in place for people who are speedrunning.

Yeah insults have been thrown but again thats always gona happen, not everyone in a community is going to get along and you certainly dont fucking seem to care about this

I dont know where all this started, i just came back to speedrunning after my long break, but im still an active runner and part of this community so i will have my say, looks to me like your just trying to make short work of this because you dont want to have to deal with it, like every other time anything happened within the community, you took the easy option out

Okay i get that, but the posts themselves were not directed at trance, and well yes because turbo and macro is cheating its not relying on your raw skill as a human instead you use something else to aid you.

This doesnt mean that sephjul and junky was directing anything at anyone, they are just trying to clear up their views about this whole topic which this whole thread was made for, at least have the decency to read the whole thing before siding with people.

And yes Trance has every right to defend himself but so we do, being cocky isnt something thats gona get you liked in this community, and again this whole thing is supposed to help bring the community together again.

Your supposed to be the "big boss" then why dont you do something to help the community, yeah theres always gona be something happening and you know that, this is a majority thing and people just listen to what you say cause thats that, seems like once you say something its to never be looked upon again but thats not how it should be, and thats why we want change, thats why this whole thing was formed!

Carci, before you say we all started using an emotional argument that trance is a cheater, Trance bought it upon himself within this thread, the main point of this thread was to ask peoples views and for them to vote about turbo and macros, no one mentioned a thing about it until he started commenting

Because there was no voting/option to ask for a change, not many people really thought about it like that back then, this was before the community is as big as it is now, a few of us had said stuff about yoshi using a turbo but it never went anywhere else other than a small conversation lol

I disagree with the use of turbo or macros, theres not much that can be said about it really, in the end a turbo controller is something that is used in a TAS and therefore it shouldnt be allowed to be used in a standard run

I Vote to ban turbo and macros also
