I'm not currently a runner, but I plan to run in future. I also moderate and provide rules for another game on SR. Having a similar issue as this one regarding that game aswell. A new glitch was found a few months back that was a huge timesave but it really broke the integrity and challenge of the game, making the category a cakewalk, and it would have affected a lot of runs. Removing huge sections of the game, and making the runs not very fun to play or watch! Soooo, i made a new category, with the agreement of the community of course, and it worked awesomely! Sooo, you gotta consider how it affects the challenge and ideals of the run, and whether it would make it less enjoyable to watch <3

It does pretty much, so what's the point in changing the rules? Doesn't seem like an overall necessary change to me. Doesn't affect gameplay at all, it's just an annoyance! I vote against ☝ and don't think it should be changed on a 'suggestion'
Used to do the same thing when i was young to skip the barracks, meaning you can re-enter the exec office and save the mudokons at the end as many times as you wish. But as you found if you do kill the glukkon before the cutscene then it registers that section incomplete, so you can either wait for the FMV to start and then skip it, or remove the FMV file from your exoddus directory.
Might be worth banning this glitch from runs as it is a potential game breaker for glitched. I imagine running any% up until the exec offices, then completing it 30 times to get 300 odd escapees is a lot shorter than doing the full game :) (over 300 still counts ingame as 100%)
