Are the leaderboards for this game still active at all?

It's likely Switch runs will be under the same as the current console rules.

Would it be faster to get certain other cards?
I learned this the hard way, If you have never beaten the game before or don't have saved data of the game you will be forced to watch every cutscene you have not seen before.
Update, In order to reach the fair at this moment in time you need 60 cards
Is there an in game need for the 60 cards like the Were Rabbit Finale isn't accessible without them or is there some other reason that isn't really stated?
Does anyone know how the room RNG is decided on? Is it upon selecting new game or is it rolling a dice on every room enter? Can it be manipulated at all or is it just hoping you don't get the chasm rooms each time?
Thanks for the info! I'm looking into learning how to run this over the weekend and usually find discords to be helpful. The game looks pretty straightforward though and the resources are helpful.

To my knowledge no, however you could probably make an argument for it in the Discord. All the Clock Tower Series players usually respond there.
The better question is where can we potentially use this?

The Damage OOB is something I'd want to recreate, it could technically get us to certain rooms early
So far I know of three glitches

Flamethrower Early You can damage boost off the flying bug shortly after the spider fight Arguably the best weapon in the game Probably not worth the deviation since you have proper weapons for the end game, would really only be good for Dragon Scarab and Ahmanet but theres approximately a 3 minute deviation so possibly risky

Anubis Fight Easy Axmos found this glitch, you can skip the entire Anubis fight I have it clipped since it is easy to pull off and saves time since 1. no cutscene from Ahmanet and 2. No moving, he eats every bullet.
To perform this go to the platform and keep firing, you should hear the damage. Keep shooting till you hear the explosion. Exit the room where you entered and continue as normal, if you try advancing from that point the game will softlock since Ahmanet can't spawn Anubis
- Damage OOB I discovered this Glitch during one of my runs, I landed on the gear and landed on the spike around the same time and it put me at the bottom of the room. Jumping brought me to the exit which was easier than waiting to fall
The rules state the RTA timer ends at the start of the final cutscene, my vod has it right when it fades to black.
Metroid's 45:55 comes right when the death scream in the final tomb happens.
Two things needed are consistent RTA ending in the event of a neck and neck tie and IGT end credits shown for the official timer.
In the future RTA should utilize livesplit for the millisecond issue however this would be rare. Officially for most runners I'd say it would only need IGT
I noticed every run is on PC yet it is no longer available on the steam market. Is there another way to get the game?
