Correct lol, it wasn't when those old runs were submitted and they were labelled "no rewind" in the description as requested. I would've commented on the announcement of the feature, but that's not possible. Just saying if "It is important that Rewind runs and No-Rewind runs are accurately tracked" then older runs should get labeled properly too
Just wanna point out that yall forgot the obsolete runs that are no rewind when labelling the runs
oh you meant all ? panels of a singular location, I misread that, ignore everything I said
I'm for this, but because it's partially covered by Time Trials, it's weird, because it'd be redundant if Nintendo updates the game to allow Time Trials on every track
Yeah I mean, regardless of if/when you add it, I'm still never using rewind so that's how it goes, I'll try to remember what you said, but hidden in a forum I might forget
Yeah that sounds like a nightmare for most people, it's incredibly unfriendly to the general population (all stickers) and it's horrendous content too, so even streamers probably won't want to do it (in general, not like, no one ever will do it)
All Stickers would likely make the run too long because of the milestone stickers that are just do X number of tricks, collect X coins, race X times, like you're gonna have to do a bunch of extra races for no reason other than getting like 4 stickers, and not just a couple races, far more than double. I would not go towards all stickers because very few people would even be capable of finishing the run even with the current break rules and it's not even gonna be interesting what is being done in all this extra stuff, like just race Mario Circuit hundreds of times or something like that.
Gonna unbind the down arrow for runs, and only run that way, yall tell me when it's a thing
Your shield will get eaten every time if you don't touch the controls while you're in the Like Like. You need to press literally anything on the controller, the more things you press, the faster you get out, and if you get out fast enough, your shield won't get eaten
I don't have the willingness to spend the time on explaining it myself, the trick is called Early Lens, if you wanna do the research, or maybe you can find someone willing to explain to you in the Discord :)
I'm okay with requiring the collecting of all trade items if the verification team is willing to do that job.
Well you could skip all of the trade sequence, including Yoshi, and just get the Lens with Rooster if all you want is the boomerang. Would have to time exactly what's faster between just getting the things for Rooster or trading everything + getting hookshot. Unfortunately I can't actually do the tricks needed for the Rooster route so I can't do the timing.
The best way I have found is using a save manager on a homebrewed switch because it lets you clearly label which saves are what. Ultimately it is just a label and you can just make practice saves by making multiple profiles without the need for homebrew. Also as far as I know there are no emulators supporting save states for Switch games.
We would appreciate additional details on this "double jump" and what is "jumping in front of the ladder"? Because the way I see what could've happened is simply jumping onto the ladder and then jumping from the ladder, which you can do, to the top of the ladder.
I understand you may not have anything for this particular incident, but for future reporting, taking a switch clip using the capture button is a fantastic method of obtaining evidence for things immediately after you just realized it might be of interest.
