If it's a 500 code that doesn't have to do with the php code itself it should be caught since it can be. Like I already said, I wasn't trying to be a smartass that's simply what you're saying I am.

If the frontend is connected to an api, throw a 404 instead of a 500 (cause something is missing) if it's directly connected to the backend, then it's a programming error

Okay I should've probably brought the message a bit different, but that doesn't make it less of an opinion.

Now I can't say "I would like to see my money get put to use" since I haven't donated anything and it's not like I'm really doing all that much here. The term "shit" might've been a bit too broad, there are definitely things that the site does right, just that there are a lot that are also bad (in my opinion that is)

I mean.... everything about it just looks old... No private messages. Heck even the "new thread" box is shit as doesn't use the theme of the general site.

No real customization, it really isn't that hard to implement something like markdown.
