I don't mind the idea, but if it starts at the lobby, it will be mostly determined by who can click buttons and run up stairs the fastest, with the actual dying part having pretty much no influence on the speedrun, and if it's like an individual tunnel run, the ingame timer wouldn't be accurate enough, making all top runs likely to be 0:00.050
