I'd be fine with needing video proof for RTA categories and picture proof for IGT, I feel like all categories should have ruling on what proof is needed. Clarifying rules like this shouldn't really be something we stall on. If you guys want to discuss further on this we have a discord channel specifically for discussions like this.
There's no runs on the board that don't have video proof, and there have been runs rejected because they don't have proof. If you guys want to accept certain methods of proof like photos, or have video proof cut offs for certain categories, then I'm all for it, but no rules as such are specified and need to be discussed.
Video proof is required for all runs. Photos can easily be edited/shopped, so they aren't accepted as proof.
You don't need a capture card to record gameplay if you don't want to get one, (Even though a lot like the GV USB 2 are pretty cheap) you can simply record your TV screen with your phone/camera and upload it to YT, then submit it. Getting video proof is not as much of a hassle as you might think.
There's a section in the rules for Optifine. They say:
OptiFine:
- No Zoom
- No Fast Math
- No Clear Water
- No Dynamic Lighting
- No Lazy Chunk Loading
- No Render Distance higher than the version you're playing on normally allows
You can use backspin to beat the only CPU it works on, Cole. Backspin will completely foil Cole and he won't hit it back, if it's done correctly. If you look in the "Guides" section on the SRC page, there's a few All Sports tutorials that explain how to do it well.
Also, for more questions like these, I'd recommend joining the Discord (Button under the "Guides" tab), and posting in the #strats channel. You'll get a quicker response there.
So, we've made a change in the minigame leaderboard. There is now a separate sub category for minigame runs with multiple controllers. Adam was in charge of editing all the runs to include the sub category, so they didn't disappear on the leaderboard. However not all of the runs were editing, and we don't exactly keep track of all of them. If your minigame run doesn't appear on the leaderboard you don't have to resubmit, just tell me in this forum, and I can make them reappear by editing the runs on your profile. Thanks.

Hey Jack!
As for verification, it just depends on what moderators are online and on SRC. It usually doesn't take more than a day or two to verify a run.
And yes, it is ok to run with your recording method being a phone/camera. However with your particular run, some important parts of it were not visible, like the in-game time left. If there is anyway possible, I'd encourage you to try and up your video quality.

This was requested over a year ago. The general consensus is that just one match is pretty arbitrary for a full category, but if there's support from other people and multiple people run it, there's a chance it could be added to Category Extensions: https://www.speedrun.com/wsce
The site rollback deleted my marathon page so here we go again:

There are a few random cuts that anyone can spot, but it can't be explained with Twitch messing up a highlight, as the timer runs smoothly throughout the run. It could be explained if he took the audio and edited a timer onto the video, then uploaded it to Twitch, but if you filter through Jimothy's Uploads on Twitch the section is empty. Definitely evidence of splicing.
His commentary over the run isn't any evidence in my opinion. The description of the run says "Well, i was a bit drunk," so if he says anything a bit weird it's not that surprising. Personally I don't think him saying "Boxing time" proves anything.
About exiting before modern quit timing rules, Plyd is the only person here that would know what the quit timing rules were 3 years ago, and I'm not sure myself.
Exiting before quit timing is enough to reject a run anyways, but the evidence of splicing piles onto it as well. Also, the run was verified by Jimothy himself, so it could've passed by without another mod seeing the run. However, I'm not about to make a rash decision without hearing from another mod.
Grand Finals to the BfBB NSBA tournament, best of 3. Last match, Univa won against Jackalacka by only a second.
The rules of this speedrun would be to destroy all the beds in a 3v3 or 4v4 game. It must be yourself that destroys all the beds, none of your teammates can, and an opponent cannot. Here's my video of a 3v3 Win (With Party), where I do this in 9:14.
@thiccypickle202 yeah, it's bedwars but it's a category that I feel belongs on category extensions. I'll repost anyways.

You don't have to as of right now, but it's your choice I suppose.
Emulator runs are hidden by default on the leaderboards. You have to select Filter > Emulators > Shown.
(Issue resolved on Discord)
Basically, the emulator runs done before this rule change will be accepted again, but any inaccurate emulator runs done after the rule change will not be accepted, and emulator runners will have to run on Wii or on accurate emulator settings.
Thank you for your time.
@Plyd823 and I decided that Emulator runs will be banned until the Emulator runner community for this game can figure out how to run it the same as it would on the OG Wii. After reviewing Limepeel and Aleef's runs, I also see the faster loading times. We have it allowed for games like Wii Fit Plus, because as @Cmdr said, a runner has made a settings list for it to run as accurately as possible. We also have it banned in WSR and Club for the same reason (Although Club is pretty much unplayable on emulator). Apologies for the inconvenience.
Also, another note: If you own a Wii or Wii U, the game, and have a way of recording runs, I would encourage you to use the Wii and not an emulator.
