just looked and they all say wii as the console choice? did you find a solution for this? Also I find it kind of unlikely that every run was done on a wii and none were done on a gamecube, but it could be that they were, just unlikely imo

personally I just keep track of my own for fun, but I dont see the reason for having it on pages. For example, I have 27 WRs and 218 IL WRs, so I would have 245 trophies on my page for no reason. It just doesn't seem reasonable.

follows me and gets like 70 notifications in one hour because of IL submissions

I like the new layout, but I find the site running a little slower since the update, not sure if that is just an issue on my end or not, but thought it was worth noting.

@shadowFlame7799 a "professional gamer" is someone who uses gaming as a profession, so twitch streamers, competitive high level overwatch, csgo, hearthstone, dota, league player, or to an extent some speedrunners who make videos about games. However, just playing at a high level does not make you a professional.You used Evo as an example so here, I would not say you need to have won an Evo to be considered a professional, but at least participate, maybe take a higher place than average. But I wouldn't go to an Evo event to watch the games being played and tell people I'm a "professional fighting game player" because I play it at my house against my friends.

I am also not a troll and my question was not directed as a troll question, I was simply asking if maybe you did other things that would classify you as a professional in video games which you seem to not. Sorry if this sounds rude, I just don't like being called out for something that I am not.

I agree with Komrade, I personally have thought about looking for bounties on games before, high scores or speedruns, but I never found much because I dont feel like it is a very big thing.

people will cheat for the money if they can, and like Komrade said people do cheat now anyway so with money on the line they will just do it more.Now I'm not saying that bounties are bad, but I just dont think there should be a full site dedicated to crowdfunding bounties.

Another thing is what if someone doesnt know about the site? Say I run SM64 120 star and didnt know this bounty was a thing, and got the world record, would you notify me that I won it? Or would it go to the next person to beat it and reach out to you saying they did?

all in all, I don't think many people will be doing much with this site, but still all the power to you to try and get it going.

so posting this here since there is a section for it, but I have been having a problem that is fairly consistent with streamlabs OBS. While streaming, My stream will randomly go down and reconnect, which is a problem for speedruns obviously but that isn't the only issue, it seems to be that my internet as a whole cuts out for a second, but only when I stream. I noticed this because I would stream CS:GO or Hearthstone and be disconnected from my games when my stream went down. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue or if anyone has any ideas to possibly help fix this issue?

if you have any games you run that aren't on the site you can suggest them by going to the games tab and on the right side clicking the box "request a game" put in the info for the game and a site mod will review it and reject or accept the game onto the site.

so Pac has been without the golden A for a few days now and I was wondering what happened? Is it just for testing or is he taking a break from the site for a while?

if you are talking about the thread that Liv linked on your last post, it was not a list of games that have no moderation, it was about how games will be deleted if they are not set up after 2 weeks of being on the site.

However if this is something else and you saw someone talking about a list of games with no mods I don't think that exists either.

@ShikenNuggets The site crashes and says this "This page isn't working www.speedrun.com is currently unable to handle this request HTTP ERROR 500" It isn't the try again message where the site loads but it loads weird, the site just crashes

unable to verify or reject any runs. I managed to verify 1 run today of the 60 I have pending. But now the site is crashing every time I hit verify or reject.

This has probably been asked before and I just can't seem to find it. I have my twitch account linked and I have been affiliate for a while now, but I can't seem to find the option to add an icon next to my name for it like some others have.

I had just reinstalled it on a new PC so it should be the newest version, and it happens with any game I play

So this has been happening for a while now, I am running games and need to reset, so I reboot the core, or reload the rom, or even make a save state at the start of the game and just load that. But, every 2 or 3 times I do this (any of the methods) my bizhawk crashes. Anyone else experiencing this?

I searched Maze Speedrun on the android store and it showed up, It's by Arde Apps.
