Good point, I’ll see what I can do to change this around a bit. If anyone else knows of any places where locomotion is required, please let us know. Thank you!
Ye that pretty much sums it up, as well as we don’t have a good way to use live splits and all of the records would be the exact same after like a day.
Bumped this up to 48 because the picture was taken and blocked the scoreboard, then the results weren’t shown, but I know when the timer stops naturally and it was close so I’ll just move it up a second.
Yea, basically what Fusi said. It’s a whole mess and ppl are gonna get really upset over it.
It'll become inactive very quickly. There's a really low skill ceiling and no RNG to spice it up. Sorry, but probably won't ever happen. Maybe category extensions, but probably not ever here.
I agree 100%. This way I don’t always have to write “iOS” for my platform on all of my runs.
This is what happened: when we switched from the S+/S/Any% to the Glitchless/Any%, all of the S+ runs were moved to glitchless without second question of whether or not they actually used glitchless, we only caught this in PJottos’ run for 6:18 which got A rank but was put in glitchless, despite the act 3 and act 7 glitchless. It just took us an extra few months to figure out what was going on with the crescendo glitchless runs. Initially it may have seemed like we verified Jossiah’s run as any% including the glitch, but in reality it just wasn’t double checked when we switched to the new system. Hope this helps to clarify some things.
I initially verified it before going through the solo. It does seem to be glitching through a barrier, but I couldn’t be sure so I put it back on the waiting list and contacted a multitude of other mods. Some think it was okay, others don’t. Ronin verified the solo that had the glitchwalk oob thing as well, not sure if that was missed or not, I’ll leave it up to him or some of the super mods to decide.
Locking this because it's getting off topic.
Great run! Jumbomega is one of my favorites just because of moments like 5:30
Wow! Incredible accuracy. My favorite part was 1:32. Can't wait to see where you are in another 8 months.
Suggestion: Use steam VR if you can, you won't get those weird stray arrows, and you get a lot more customizability with your resolution settings.
It depends on the skill in question. Overall skill would have to be any% in my opinion, because you are taking into account a multitude of things (I'll use golden as an example but you all are smart enough to translate this to other quests). There's a certain dedication you must have in order to do skips efficiently (the new act 7 skip especially). There's some amount of dodging enemies and being able to shoot fast and accurately. Your teleports/movements have to be precise and trained. Not to mention it's by far the most competitive category. Omega% is hard but it only trains a select few skills: ability to dodge enemies and ability to shoot fast. There is essentially no other skill required other than that. The fastest shooter dominates in omega because they can shoot an insanely high amount of arrows into a crowd of enemies, which is often the case in omega. Glitch less is essentially any% but its far less competitive and you don't have to know any skips. As for why I spent 10 minutes of Chinese class dedicated to writing the most irrelevant and ridiculous argument for skill measurement I do not know.
