i clicked on view rules 10 min ago and there was nothing. Now there is something though
I still wonder, do we really have to have a real time timer if the final time is only igt
I ain't giving you no tree-fitty you goddamn Loch Ness monster! Get your own goddamn money!
Nah but in all seriousness, shiken nugget pretty much sum it up
the menuing can be faster, oh wait, no. It can't because the menu softlock if you switch level too fast
Skylar and plux, adventure on cover island. The speed of the game in casual mode is really slow, but once you start b-hopping and going out of bound, the game just fly by and is done in 15 min
even more change, you cant buy a pickaxe in the sotre, you cant sell your green powder to the store they used to, you need to sell it to martha the relic are random (i dont know if they were random before but youre not garanteed the 2 old part)
So in the new game update, you cannot jump on the house to get the second chest of the game. i haven't tested the other chest yet but there a chance its the same thing for some of them
The skill are also different, which mean you cant get 2% more stamina.
Are the previous run invalid or are we gonna add a new category for the full game
Will this be renamed to monste rhunter ultimate generation or will it stay xx? And will the quest name change to english name
its only better if you have good internet. And you also need unlimited data since it can grudge your data real fast.
@theripper999 People speedrun "opening a stranger chest" in minecraft hypixel wars. people will find a way to speedrun anything
Fortnite single player is getting updated at the same pace then the br, even if the playerbase is probably dead, the game isnt. but yeah speedrunniong early acess game/ever changing games/pvp game isnt a good idea
its a series game, so the series moderator can add series games without having to go through the request games
Back to the main topic, why would a game require a timer. When someone ask if he really need a timer, 98% of the people here will answer "You don't need a timer, it's just a decoration to know if you were faster than your previous run". And that's true, you don't really need a timer if its on youtube, you just take the time of the end minus time of the beginning and that's it.
lackattack24 for the legend of zelda borari for skylar and plux
So were currently the 22 which mean the competition just ended https://imgur.com/a/pKgNmVg. The leaderboard are the same as my last post, i will proceed to hand the reward accordingly. I already sent the gift to dkm, waiting for him to accept, still didn't get an answer from pie and waiting for Nihilist to add me.
I learned a lots of thing about hosting competition, and i should add way more information in my next one (if i proceed to do another one)
So anyway yeah, it was fun and i guess you can close this thread
5 day left and only 2 person participated. here is the current leaderboard https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AAPIMso4cKkCzBY-EUsBwx4WmVQjbKRwd5qcY04WPR8/edit#gid=0 I already asked the 2 participant to add me on steam, and if anyone is planning to snipe the competition remember that i am giving the price on steam using this system https://store.steampowered.com/digitalgiftcards/ . with this system you need to be friend for 3 day to be able to gift someone money so if youre sniping, take that into consideration.
damn nice find. sad that the flash engine is completly random. well seing your run gave me motive to play, so i guess i'l ltry some attempt Also just dropping a little tips, landing lose you .1 sec so try to land less in your run. You probably lost around .6 sec in your "pb" video
@theripper999 Out of all the game i speedrun, i only played 5 of them before and these 5 game were probably the one i spent the less time on it. Everyone is different and you should know that by now.
Anyway i'll plug skylar and plux, its a pc platformer, fair amount of skip and medium trick. I know its not on a emulator but whatever. better wait for steam sale if you want to buy it though
Hi everyone, I'm bad at introductions, so let's just get right to the point.
I'm starting a speedrunning contest for the game Free Rider HD: https://www.speedrun.com/frhd . The contest start today and end on the 21st of June.
The competition will mostly be about the 10 individual campaigns. In each campaign, you'll get 5 pts for being first, 4 for being second 3 for third 2 for forth, and the 5th place and less will all get 1 pts. So right nowan exemple of the leaderboard would look like this: https://imgur.com/a/DSzwlHI . But everyone start at 0 since the competition start today
The prize will be sent on steam, so you need a steam account. (The $ stands for Canadian Dollar - I'm Canadian). 20$ for the guy with the most points 10$ for the second 5$ for the third.
20$ for the guy who will have the best time on the all level category.
Bonus: If at least ten person submit a run, i'll pick randomly one person with 8+ points to win a 50$ steam card code. (This is why 5 and less all get 1 pts)
Why am i doing this?
- I want some competition involved.
- I am not interested in any new games at the moment, so yeah.
To be more specific, the front page show the most recent submitted run that were approved. So like shiken said, you need to hope it get approved as soon as you submit it which is rare except if theres a lots mod or if you are active at the same time as the mod
Also to specify what blue yoshi said, you can change your setting to see more or less thing about the game you follow at the top of the front page if you just go here
