correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the old speedstart was frame-specific, resolution-specific, and faster. however, my experience has led me to the conclusion that the old speedstart is now impossible. when I came back to speedrunning MMO for a bit, I was unable to replicate the old speedstart with little success, whereas the method Einsteiner discovered does seem to work, though I have yet to master the setup with 100% consistency

to downgrade via factory reset, how would it affect other games on your switch? would it delete save progress on other games, or even remove the games entirely? because I would love to be able to do 1.0.0 speedruns, but I really don't want to spend money for another switch or buy my digital games again

i mean i did a while back but my parents are so strict and its hard to sneak stuff like that in. which is lame cos im almost 14

also the only device i can rly sneak stuff onto is my school laptop and that has discord blocked so its kinda a dead-end road
