United StatesThe only Wii Series Discord seems to be the Wii Sports Series. Personally as someone who's in the Super Smash Bros. Discord, you can make it really clean and neat. So I think going there would be much better.
So feel free to record videos of your runs and either post them here in the forum or in the Discord.

Good evening everyone. Cmdr here for the Wii Sports Resort mod team. I am here to tell you the changes coming to the Wii Sports Resort leaderboards for the months of July and August. We got some pretty cool things planned out that I am excited to tell you about.
Multiplayer/Team Sub Categories
This will be a long process, but we will be adding Multiplayer/Team sub categories to the boards. What does this mean? Well for instance, instead of Just playing Bowling by yourself with one Mii, now you can play it with 4 Miis, or get three of your friends and bowl together, combine your points, there is your score. As you'll see towards the bottom, we are making some major changes with the Category Extension boards, and I am sure in the coming months a lot of the new mulitplayer ideas will be on there as well.
Canoeing ILs
Speaking of the Category Extension Boards, last month we added the Swordplay Showdown ILs to the boards, and now we are going to add Canoeing to the boards as well! Now you can see if PAL is truly faster, by running Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert. We suggest 100m, but if you want to be a ten, be a ten.
Overhaul of the Wii Sports Resort Category Extension Board
This one is a biggy. the CE boards are going to get a complete makeover in the coming weeks. We are moving all of the IL based runs to the actual IL boards, and making way for some fun and exciting categories to be on the CE boards. What categories you may ask? Well we are going to keep those a secret till we get them all setup, so you'll just have to tune in and find out.
Speaking of categories, if you have any fancy or wacky ideas for the new Category Extension boards. Make a run of it and submit it down below! We are always looking for ways to make Wii Sports Resort fun for all.

Hello everyone! After a successful ResortFest International marathon, we move on to ResortFest: Fall Fright! This will be put on October 11th-14th.

Here is the official schedule for the first ever ResortFest International event! We have 68 different runs, with runners from eight different countries. We at the ResortFest team are super excited for all of the runs, and wanna thank everyone who submitted.
Here are just some of the highlights of what you'll see July 13th-July 15th!
First ever Wii Sports Resort 4 Person Race between World Record holder Alaskaxp2, 3rd place Cmdr, 8th place runner Bandow2000, and ResortFest Admin Plyd823.
First ever Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix 4 Person Race between CountGooby, Cmdr, DDRShane, and LinkaMiester.
A Super Smash Bros. Brawl block by runners Dragolina, Cmdr, and adct. They'll combine to run Subspace Emissary Any%, Subspace Emissary NG+, All Events, Classic, All-Star, Target Test All Characters, and Boss Battles.
A Project M block ran by CountGooby and Helix, featuring Subspace Emissary, Boss Battles, Target Test 1, and All Events.
Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse by runner levelengine, who is super close to getting the world record in two of the sub categories for the main game.
A 3 person Super Mario 64 race by Prakxoelpatatita, gchierico91, and dumpdome. You'll see Prakxoelpatatita quite a bit this marathon, he is doing 9 different runs!
Disney's Tarzan: Untamed by the world record holder luigiman2201.
And many more runs! I swear if we listed them all off you'd be here forever. You'll have to check out the schedule to see all of the 68 different runs. Many of the runners and games are making marathon firsts. If there isn't one, I wouldn't mind setting up one. I have plenty of experience with Discord servers, being on the server staff of the Wii Sports Series server and owning two decent size servers.
This is a bump while all of my 30 kills runs upload. I got all of the first DLC uploading.
Nevermind, just booted up the game. You have the option to turn off all DLC for each save. Do I need to turn off all DLC? (Crimson, Districts, Flagellant, Shieldbreaker)
Soooo, Ancestral Edition. Would that affect the Necromacer% run? Should it be something that has its own sub category?
Ancestral Edition includes Shieldbreaker and Crimson Court.
Good evening everyone. Cmdr here for the moderator team at the Wii Sports Resort leaderboards. We apologize for the lateness in the rules package changes for June, and we thank you for your patience.
This month we tackled some pretty important topics that had a chance to really shake up a lot of the categories. I'll go through them all here.
First thing is first, we are going to overhaul the category extensions leaderboards. This will be finished by Sunday, July 1st. Please be paitent with us at this time.
Our first new category is:
Swordplay Showdown ILs
From popular demand, we are going to have Swordplay Showdown IL's on the Category extensions leaderboards. These will be under the "Individual Levels" tab. Timing will begin on selecting the level, and end on the last swing. to 100% the level. If you choose to use a full Swordplay Showdown run, and use a individual level from in the middle of the run, timing begins after getting 100% on the previous level. Yes, that is a pretty massive penalty. The rules are free to change once we get our science guy to check timing. But for now, timing begins after getting 100% on the previous level.
This was controversial, but I believe it is better for the WSR as a whole:
All Courses Golf and All Courses Frisbee Golf changes to 18 holes + Special
This means timing will begin when selecting "Eighteen Holes" and ends when making it in the 21st hole (3rd hole of special). Doing all of the 3 holes was smart in theory, but led to a un-enjoyable run. This does mean if you can use your time for the Special holes on the CE leaderboards.
Lastly, for the betterment of the community:
Wii Sports Club has been added to the Wii Sports Series Discord
This will be official about Thursday, June 28th at 12:00am. With the additions of GhostT, Alaskaxp2, Gameland, and Wipeoutjack, we feel like Wii Sports Club can solidly be in the Wii Sports Series Discord, without it being completely useless. This does mean that we are adding a new mod to the mod team. So welcome Wipeoutjack7!
Here are somethings that we considered, but overall axed:
Multiple players being used in All Sports/All Categories/Cycling runs
The strats found by Tendog, although could shave over 5 seconds of Cycling and Canoeing each, was voted to not be allowed. My personal reason, and I think something that the mod team would share with me, is that this gives a really big advantage to those with the money to afford 4 Wii Remotes with Wii Motion Plus (used, that is at least $80, new that is almost $200). This is something that we may bring up later, but I feel like not for the foreseeable future.
Scoreboard for Power Cruising
This is something that again we all seemed to agree shouldn't be added. If SRC gets a high scores site for itself, this is something that probably will be added immediately. However with the current leaderboard setup, will not be added at this time.

We also want to wish Cmdr, Plyd, Alaska, Wipeout, Bandow, Jimmy, realim, Tendog, Tyler, Gameland, and Prax good luck as they all will be participating in the speedrunning marathon, ResortFest International 2018. These runs will take place July 13th-July 15th, raising money for the Flint Water Crisis. Cmdr, Plyd, Alaska, Bandow, Tendog, Tyler, Gameland, and Prax will be doing Wii Sports Series runs, so go out cheer them on.
