Oh damn that was a tricky one. I did not notice the buy all assets and been fooled by the language. Did not notice that was for signal drills jammed. Thanks for the report. ;)
In my opinion it will be like Big Bank. There will be a run with that OOB but Overkill will fix this and it won't be possible after that. That's why we have the number of update in each run. And glitches are part of the game, if you don't want to use them, don't use them. But I will not declare glitches banned because of that. With Overkill which can fix glitches at any moment, they can at any moment kill a glitched category. And I don't want that. That's because we don't need for the moment to do a separate glitch/glitchess category. They are not so many.
Eeer...It's not just because your run is not validated under 2mn after the submisssion, it's a problem. Sometimes it takes time, sometimes it's quick. No need to have more and more moderators. However, due to your submissions it took a little time to decide if we accepte that kind of video where you not see clearly the times. I decided to accept them because, it's for the fun after all. But if at any moment you can grab a capture device instead of a phone to film your run, that will be appreciated. :p
Yeah I see. And it's not breaking the IGT because the timer is frozen when a player join the game. I'm not against to verify/accept run where this happen, disconnection/reconnection of players. It's just when I imagine myself as a spectator, if the run is a lot of reconnection of the players it cannot be funny to watch it (for example this run of Minecraft made me laugh but not interesting to watch at the beginning because of the permanent cut of the game). But for the moment in the heists, I don't find a particular moment when it's benefit to have a massive deconnection/reconnection.
For sum up, as a moderator of the leaderboard I accept that kind of practice and will not reject that. As a spectator, if it's too present in a run and cut me in the action too often I will not apreciate that. :/
Now, I'm waiting for other people points of view to see if "everybody" is fine with that :p
Oh I see, that's why you used the Rocket Launcher at each beginning of heist I validated. With that point of view I understand more now. :p And yeah, I remember with JelleNL we talked about too. We said it can be a practice and a way to save time in some heists but not all. We are in Any% so there is not really restrictions. However, I think we can say that we can tolerate only 4 players in a run. And they have to be since the beginning of the heist. And after that they can quit and come back but not a 5th player or 6th player ready for switch with another build. :/
It's done, now everybody can join the group without invitation o/
Hellow everyone, we will need your opinion about something in the Coop Runs !
What do you think about disconnection in Coop Runs ? Should we ban them ? Reject a run when a player is disconnected ? For example, in this run we saw that it's an intentional kick to save time in the run. Do you accept this kind of method ?
We decided to accept this kind of runs when people disconnect for a reason. Imagine you see during a run, one runner disconnected. What should we think ? Problem of connexion ? Disconnected for a good reason (have to go, eat, etc...) ? Or disconnected to gain time ? And imagine more, we reject a run because of a problem of connection of one player. The other players finish a "perfect" run without him. I think everybody will be a lot salty. In any case, it's too impredictible to decide if it's a valid run. And everybody can lie and say "oh he had to go don't worry it's legit". So we decided to don't care about disconnected players. However, in this run we see it's wanted but they probably do it again and say "hey he lost connexion" and we can't verify it because we see only one player screen.
That's for my opinion when we decided the rules. But, if we start to reject run like this. We had to reject all the runs when we saw a disconnection. Wanted or not. What do you think ?
PS : For the IGT, during a connection of a player the IGT is frozen so the solution can be to accept a run if the player who started it, is back before the end.
Don't worry about that. The discussion I talk about was between JelleNL andme in private when we decided all the rules. ^^
I agree with you about the intentional kick to get a better time. But in what I explained we have to dissociate what it's intentional or not. In my opinion, I have no problem to reject a run with an intentional kick to get a better a time. However, I'm a little more sad to reject a run which is quite good just because a guy in the run have his internet shutted down. The IRL RNG strikes. :D And if we accept to reject a run with disconnection like this, we have to reject all the runs with a member who lost connection intentionaly or not. I think it's a little rude...
But if you want, we can open a topic to discuss about that rule and see what other speedrunners thinks about that. :)
Oops sorry, I forget it was that setup ! And the group says I can't modify it because I have not the rights...Damn you group steam ! Okay for the moment (waiting the creator of the group to modify it), you can add me on Steam and I will invite people who want to join the group.
Hi everybody ! Just a message to let you know that a steam group for the PAYDAY 2 Speedrun Community is created for a moment but I totally forgot to present it to you :D Feel free to join it, it can be more easy to contact between us if you want to make some games or discuss about PAYDAY strat in the chat group. And maybe doing some tournaments for fun, I have some ideas that can interest you :p Here the group : http://steamcommunity.com/groups/pd2spdrn
And keep those helmets flying quickly ! :p

@my HERO : People are not too dumb too. :p If they consider mnbmnb336 run is more the #1 than the glitched run, they will considerate it. In the leaderboard we can't put Glitched or not. It will be too massive. (before an update it was quite massive with each difficulty haha)
Don't worry about this, I always check about IGT and RTA after a submit. But please yeah, submit ONLY IGT. :p
That's why we want the update number on all heists. For example for big bank, you have the glitched run but in a certain number of update, if you want to see the "legit" #1 at the moment, you can eliminate these runs without restriction for the people who run it like this.
When we said No Mods, yeah that's no mod at all. We prefer to have vanilla runs to be sure of the authenticity of the run. Some Mods can give you extra informations like the number of pagers, it's part of the game to remember how much you used. That's for the extra informations mods. For skins it's more difficult to say what we should tolerate or not. But an ex-mod with me said me that some skins of the HUD, can help to not hide some part of the screens, change some informations of the game in a minor impact, but change. So, to be sure and not loose hours to decide if it's legit to use that mod or not, we prefer to say "no mods at all".
I know it's part of your personnality sometimes to customise your game for identify you, I understand. But it's more easy to us to verify like this.
Sorry but we need a proof to submit your time. If we can't prove your run, everybody can submit a time and we can't be sure if it's fake and in the rules :/ Maybe you can find some friends to do coop and your friend record the run.
Sorry for the wait, I saw the runs which need to be verified, but quite sometimes I don't have the time to verify them. But don't worry, I will verify them. :p
Sorry, I saw them but I don't have the time to verify it immediatly. But when I Have the time I do it, as fast as possible. ^^"
Hi, in a certain way, changing skins or sounds can alter the perception of the game. Making it more easy and indirectly modify the gameplay. I can understand that's minor changing. But for not saying "yes" at someone and "no" at someone else, it's just better to say no at all mods/skins to be sure. And for modify the skins, you don't have an option in the menu ? Or move the skins' files ?
