OK, so I do apologize about this, but could I change my name to Cheeheeze instead? Sorry about the confusion. ^^; This will be my last name change.

That honestly makes plenty of sense, and I do see your point. Instead of posing risks, it's just best to say no to cheats, and I can understand in that case. I'll just use em' in practice then.

The "no music" cheat may have been banned because it counts as disabling a game function, I think. I don't really see a problem with that cheat myself. Or maybe they think no music makes it easier to splice or something, not really sure. But I mean, having a different color doesn't do any thing, besides change the visual color appearance.

did you see the link I provided, sir? it's a color code generator, and works beautifully.

how does being dictated to "default color only" make sense palette swapping isn't an issue. why so biased to an idea that practically does no harm?

How does moon jumping have any thing to do with a minor cosmetic difference?

So, the thing is.. color codes are nothing more than cosmetic changes and cannot effect gameplay by all means.

This thought is kind of a hit or miss either way you look at it, but it would actually be kind of cool imo if we had the ability to use our favorite colors on Mario, and all have our own enjoyable colors to look at while speedrunning. I also think it would give us more diversity in some way; ways people could possibly recognize runners in the community by the colors they use i.e. how the competitive Smash scene use different colors throughout the vast selection of colors to choose from.

Yoshielectron has conveniently provided a perfect color generator that allows us to customize Mario's colors to our liking. I think something like this would be super cool in the SM64 speedrunning community tbh.
