Hello Buddies! AFG here. I have some exciting news for Team Buddies speedrunning.

## New Moderator

Firstly cheers to Casu for giving me mod access, I'll now be helping with verifying runs and hopefully be able to attract more speedrunners to this game.

## IGT "In Game Time" Leaderboard

As you know some runners play on PS2 hardware while others play on PS1 hardware (or PS1 emulators) and we noticed that the loading between levels will vary by a few seconds depending on what is being used.  Since these few seconds can make a big difference we decided to measure runs by in game time only so loading screens and menuing to the next level will not be counted for IGT. Specifically we will measure IGT by recording the time when "Ready" first appears on screen to when "YOU WIN" appears on screen for each mission.

Since Team Buddies is an expensive game and not everyone has a PS2 we think this will be a fairer way to measure Team Buddies speedruns. I intend to remeasure the current runs on the board and calculate IGT for the current runners.

But don't worry, continue to submit your runs as normal (using your spilts during the run) and we will calculate IGT ourselves. Team Buddies speedruns are quiet for now so it won't be too overwhelming

*Note: Pal version of the game runs much slowier so we'll try find a way to compensate for the speed difference if we need to.*
