This will be my last thread for the kart rider community, as the devs pointed out, this game will not be continued for everyone out of south korea / taiwan.

The game isnt even downloadable anymore for everyone who hasnt played it before, this alone is not enough because after february of 2025 this game will not be playable anymore for everyone who is not coming out of SK / taiwan.

Thanks to everyone who had intrest in running this game, i had a pretty nice time playing and moderating this game but everything comes to an end one day.

First of all, thank you for your effort and your interest here in the leaderboard.

Since I noticed that several people here would like to see everyone together on a leaderboard, I decided to follow your request, unfortunately we can't make the game 100% fair, but I still hope for more runs in the future because the game is still great.

Hello, the problem with the game is that the loading times arent the same for everyone.

It depends hard on the hardware and i feel like also the version you played in so the "real time" is so inconsistant that it cant really be considered to be the main category.

The livesplit IGT removes the loading times fairly good and is a much better indicator for the final time.

I can understand that this is a bit unoptimal but i wasnt able to figure out how i can get it working without that.

putting both categorys together is just not fair..

and its really to hard to cut the loading times off without the livesplit indicator because there are a lot of situations where loading times get removed during the run.

i thought a lot about it, and this was the only fair way i could think off.

i could also put the runs without ingame time to the bottom but that feels a bit shitty to me, because good runs just dont appear like good runs anymore.

thats why i choose to add the second board for that (so you can get a WR even without using the livesplit IGT).

you can either run IGT livesplit, normal timer or even both together.

If you have a fair solution you can let me know.

i got verified for the moderator role now, i already added the level% tracks and will edit the full game things too.

i wrote it to the moderator already, he said he will change it but nothing since yet

Hey, i will reply here for future questions, even if this post is older. yes its more fun this way, otherwise you need to reset and reset for nothing just because of bad rng (spawn). At the moment there is no way in skiping the ladder, most skips require entities or drawers (depends on version and the skip). You can emote to watch behind some walls but this isnt that huge of an advantage and could count into any% instead of glitchless then. For the moment it will stay like it is, there is enough rng in the game anyways. It might get changed if it should be possible to skip the ladder in the future but for the moment we dont think so. We discussed in the past about a category for the level 0 (elevator%) in our category extension but it wasnt intresting enough then and i think most of the players had no intrest in those runs.

Hey, click on pending auctions --> view all. There are your runs that need to be verified, otherwise just submit the correct run and we will care about deleting the others.

Hey, im not a moderator but im pretty sure it will never be allowed. The reason is simple, it is just to easy to cheat in the runs. Even if its just a slow speed increasement by like a few percentages and much more like good and legit looking TAS runs.. To do that on console is much harder and more obvious so dont expect dolphin to get allowed but like i said im not a moderator and i do not have any impact on that. I just said what i think about it, i hope it helped you a bit maybe a moderator can confirm / rufute this.

thanks for your information. i recognized it by myself as i was about to verify the run. the new game update brought 2 new tracks into the game and the mushroom cave you played was one of them. i added both new tracks, thanks for your post here. have fun grinding the WRs.

Is it possible to add Blindfolded Category to Mario Kart Wii Category Extensions? I am practicing to set up a good blindfolded time and would therefore be happy if this category would also be represented on this website. I also think that this category could become quite popular. the perfect rules: -grand prix mode (because VS stops automatically when everyone else is finished) -150ccm -Each cup should be seperated because its realllly difficult to drive 32 tracks at once (but you can add Nitro/Retro and 32 Tracks aswell thats really hardcore then) Thanks for your Work! 🙂 -BlueSnipeD
