Hello guys, I am of the opinion that runs that involve chasing an AI controlled vehicle down are just not made for speedrunning.
They are the runs that change nearly every update and they are very hard to correctly and fairly verify since the patch notes never say 'in bank robbery, the robber now accelerates faster'. So it's down to guessing and testing every time.. And the recent discovery that game performance impacts AI behaviour makes this a whole lot worse.
When I in the past tried to get some runs in it always felt like I had no chance or the AI was behaving differently than in the WR, but for me there is no way to be sure what it is, so I just gave up running them all together.
So they -change almost every update -are somehow/way impacted by performance -probably involve rng And therefore are -->a pain in the ass to verify and run.
Remove Chase Scenarios from the leaderboards. The Multiplayer Scenarios are probably better for speedrunning.
