I think it should, even if not many people will run it since it's such a long category. Maybe splitting it would motivate more people to run it too. Also you should keep in mind that I did my 8 hour run before we thought of using the photo mode 8x thing, so now the run would be closer to 4 hours long.

Im not really sure what bug you are talking about Jofre. All the current WR's except for Any% have been set on the latest patch. I think Any% should probably be split into pre and post economy 2.0 though. Although i dont think post 2.0 any% would be a very popular category as it would probably be a 3+ hour run with the latest strats (my run is insanely slow). I dont think there is any point in removing the times set on older patches for the rest of the categories since they are slower an i think most people would want to run on the latest patch anyways

I believe that timing should start with the first input you make to the game (camera movement, click etc.) instead of on the first frame after you load in.

I am, of course, biased because this determines whether or not I got a sub 5 minute run in 1k%

Nah, pre economy 2.0 was definitely faster but the runs just weren't that good so they are possible to be beaten even in economy 2.0. Any% might be impossible though, unless a new method is discovered.
