The second timesave is worth it, you’re in almost an hour already. How does an extra 5 minutes before going to DDD really matter

this is not a new discovery, it is a known backup in the community and from what I know its used in All ! Boxes WR, it requires like 3 frame perfect jumps but yeah its known

uhm we do HMC late so we can get mips 2 which even tho the extra castle movement probably saves like 20/30 sec, also yeah the TAS is just old

it is a cool trick but it doesn't save time, unless you're TAS and you do it setupless (it's done in the 70 star TAS) it really doesn't save any time (I assume, I haven't actually done any research)

this is a commenly known downwarp yeah, it isn't really done because it's pixel perfect and opening the door in the center just to try this setup is not worth the small change you hit it. In the video you made the way you got to the door (not counting the bonk) and the time you had to wait for the camera to normalize pretty much loses the same amount off time as you save doing it haha. Cool thing to find yourself though

that sounds like absolute hell, one frame saved during the first 5 minutes? yeah GL finding perfect RNG for the rest off the run :)

honestly I don't mind it taking so long, just means it will be even hyper when it does! really excited for it though :) wonder what crazy starts that I've never seen before I'll see!
