That might be useful in an any% run, but there’s other skips in Hidden Forest as well. For example, once you’ve completed the Assembly quests, you can enter the Treehouse and use the shortcuts to skip a large part of the realm.

I have thought about it, but the main problem is it would be extremely RNG-based as you would have to chain together multiple shared spaces to get the fastest time.
Shared spaces (including ones that others have placed) are banned mostly because they fall into the more general banning of all spells. Also, shared spaces are uniquely annoying in how random their spawning is, which would probably cause runs to be too RNG dependent.
Remember, on most leaderboards, shared spaces are banned
