On July 25th, 2012, reallyhandsomepeople, as part of his series of games parodying the Mario franchise, released Supra Mayro Kratt. About a month after it's release, Vinesauce livestreamed the game and posted the edited footage to Youtube - garnering millions of views. Almost two years later, I stumbled upon said video. The first thought I had was how funny it'd be to do a speedrun of the game.

It has now been over a decade since the inception of this leaderboard. As that time has passed, I have verified just over a hundred runs. Every rule, every category, has been made by me. As jocose an idea speedrunning this game is, I have managed to be one of the few people to actually take it this seriously. That's the beauty of this hobby - it forces you to take even the silliest of games and hold them to a standard that anyone can play to.

I haven't done a speedrun in quite some time - I lost interest in the hobby years ago - yet here I am, still verifying the few runs this game manages to get every year. My life has changed so much so that, despite the low maintenance, verifying runs is simply too much of a hassle. So I am deciding to step down as moderator.

In my place will be sweatypiranha. He's been submitting runs on a consistent basis for a little over four years now and is close to holding a WR in every category - he truly cannot be beaten it seems ;) But that's not why I am making him mod. Every so often he'll submit a no skips run that, to him, seems to bend the rules a little bit. So under it he'll write a sizeable paragraph about why he thinks it should be accepted. Even after I inquired if he would like to be mod, the first thing he asked me was how I timed submissions. These interactions suggest to me that he truly cares - there's no question to it really ;) So I am glad to be passing the torch on to him.

And with that, this is marks my farewell to this game and to speedrunning as a whole.

Thanks for the submissions,

-Turner

Full game categories (beating both tracks in one sitting) have been added to the leaderboards. Note that the amount of time to re-open the game to beat the second track should not be included in submitted runs. Please remove the loading time before you submit, otherwise it will take longer to verify. Also, to clarify: after opening the game again, the viewing of the Unity logo as well as the title screen WILL BE INCLUDED in the timing. This means that running two instances of the game at the same time to speed up the switching process will not be allowed.

Skips have been redefined to get around the weirdness of Dessert Rumble. A skip is now defined as when the player either skips laps, skips a section of track after building up speed via respawns, or skipping a section of track by using those road bumps that happen randomly throughout the run.

I have also changed the names of every category because I felt like it.

Here is the world map. This should help with routing categories http://www.mediafire.com/view/cb66wfoznz1afcz/astronot_worldmap.gif# (download for full quality, or set the zoom to "Original")

Please note that hidden paths that can be uncovered using the X-Ray Powerup are not shown, so make sure to either memorize them or pay more attention to how the map is constructed.
