United StatesNo, that’s not it. What happens is if you hold a bluster bomb in the air, it turns into a kind of baloon that floats you up, but if it hits an enemy, it does full bomb damage. If you are close enough to a boss that the baloon bomb’s hitbox is touching the boss’ hitbox, then it instantly explodes, so when you spam attack, the bomb instantly blows up each time you hit attack. You do not throw the bomb, it blows up in Poppy Bros Jr.’s hands.
Any update on the Birdon strategy?
You have to spam it REALLY fast in midair while right nest to an enemy. It helps if you use your pointer and middle finger with the AB controls,
Also, Rick, Kine, and Coo are better than Birdon, and if you use Poppy Bros. Jr., it is faster to use no allies (in case you didn’t know, bosses get a 10% health buff for each ally that you have). Not sure about allies for MK.
Yeah, even still, ice dedede is faster than bluster Meta Knight, but he is much harder to use than even Poppy Bros. Jr.
Yeah, he is pretty useless aside from Guest Star, but he still is really fun for story mode.
A. Bluster Meta Knight is better because (I think) both of their dash air attacks do the same damage, and Meta Knight can stay airborne for longer. B. Poppy Bros. Jr. is by far faster, no contest whatsoever.
Like Demolition14 said, “the leaderboards have existed for a month, I don’t think anyone would care in half a year that they couldn’t use MK 6 months ago”, so you are right, but it just makes it more fair if a faster character isn’t getting thrown into a category just because. It still very well may happen even if the Birdon thing doesn’t work, but it just means that it might require a little more consideration.
So I just tested Void Termina, and I can definitively confirm that (when using charged one person shots) there is no difference between Pre and Post Version 1.1.1. However, I cannot test Void Soul because there is only one video of the battle (that I could find) that was released before 1.1.1, and it uses a four person beam shot, which I cannot do because I do not have four people.

That’s true, but it’s your decision, if you think that adding MK to the helpers leaderboard then that’s fair. Actually, if the original 3 are added to the helpers section, then you could just change it from “Helpers” to “Original Characters”, and “Dream Friends” to “DLC”.
Okay, I don’t have it, but if it was allowed, I would have considered buying it, but there’s not as much of a point for me if it is in a separate category with literally no one else, but maybe sometime in the future, thanks!
Huh, interesting. So I don’t think it would be fair to include the original dream friends with helpers because MK is too fast, it wasn’t an option before, and he is a dream friend. I think that it would be fair to give each wave it’s own category, so there would be the original 3 and the new wave, but it might pose an issue multiple updates from now when there are so many different categories that competition drops. However, it would also not be fair to set in stone that all dream friends get their own category if a future dream friend is faster. So I think that for now it would be best to wait until the next wave releases, then see if the new three are fair. If none are faster than Marx, then we can just leave it, but if one or more is, then it might be best to divide by waves.
