Are there lots of differences from the original game that make this remake slower to speedrun?
Submitted the new autosplitter to LiveSplit today. I'll let you guys know when it's up and running. Fixed the IGT for each segment and it actually adds them up correctly at the end. Pretty neat.
Edit: 1/19/2018 6:45pm The new autosplitter should be live now.
Here is a LiveSplit layout file you can use for the NG+ category. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_HKdGApZ91hFfkHq00aX_DOu8DIXgk79
Check out the rules for each category before submitting runs and also know that the autosplitter is required to run this game. There is a forum post about it and it is also in the Resources section.
Have fun running! -Auddy

Ok guys, we have a conundrum.
So when I was talking to Dapgan about the rules for 100%, we both agreed that we were going to make the rules so that you had to have everything else completed before starting the movie gauntlet (Chapters 14-18). That way, everyone could stop their timer at the same spot that we do on Any% (once we kill Luther). We would do something similar to Luigi's Mansion 100%, where they stop the timer on the boss battle, but then have to make sure their money is enough for 100%. They show all the info at the end of the run to show it is indeed 100%. We would do the same, where we kill Luther, stop the timer, wait for credits, then go look at the tv for the 100% confirmation, and make it required that every run shows the tv on the video. However, it looks like there are Coney Missions that are only unlocked once you beat the game (Luther).
So, what do you think we should do? I was playing last night and the Coney Mission for the steel toed boots was the one that showed up after the credits and I got back to the Hangout (at least I think it was that mission).
I have taken a page from the Jet Set Radio Future community and added the option for runners to use installed versions of the game! For example, if you have a modded Xbox and would like to install your game to the hard drive to save your disc from being scratched up and also have faster loads, you are allowed to do so. Don't worry if you don't have the ability to do so, as the disc and installed versions will be separate category options. You won't have to compete with installed if you only have a disc! This goes for any of the other consoles as well. Dapgan and I will be testing the loads on Xbox and will make a video showcasing the differences.
When posting your runs you will be required to choose either "Disc" or "Digital". For users of the PS3 or PS4 version (where the game is a digital version and not disc) you should choose the "Digital" variable.
If anyone wants to know how to mod your Xbox to save your discs, check out this video:
¤Note - you don't have to erase your hard drive to install this softmod (I kept all my games saves on my Xbox and it worked just fine!). I used a SanDisk cruzer micro 4GB (SDCZ6-4096RB) usb drive to mod mine.
You will also need to buy a bigger hard drive for you Xbox in order to install The Warriors to it. The native 8GB hard drive is not big enough to fit the game once you soft mod your console. Here is the hard drive that I installed for my friends Enigma, Dapgan, and myself: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VRZ7PA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You will also need one of these splitters to perform the install / transfer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PI9AAC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And here is the tutorial I watched when I upgraded / transferred our hard drives:
Thanks guys and have fun running! If you have any questions let me know! I have done this a few times now and can help you guys both softmod or transfer to the bigger hard drives, just ask!
