A couple of things, thought I'd put it in one post.

Biggest thing first: Is there any difference between the XBox and PC version? Because if not, it's much more fun to just join them together and make one big scoreboard. (All smaller glitches, like desert run, and loadscreen moving should be the same though)


Second, I see a new mod with no speedruns/engagement and just new to the site. Maybe some explanation would be nice.

Third, as mentioned in another forum post, can we change the rules so everybody has to start with New Game? It ensures desert run and prevents frustration for new runners.


@mjkor Might be good to alter the rules to have everybody start with New Game? It's an easy fix to prevent a lot of frustration.

I would like a 6pack% category, where you both have to finish the Light levels, AND finish a 6pack of beer at the same time. Thank you. Not really.

I've not really thought about it, but that would be nice. And I would definitely see if I could do it.

I don't know how to cancel a submission, but please don't verify this run. After checking the video again, it seems the ingame timer is running slow for some strange reason. The time is not correct. Sorry about this. I'll try and see if I can fix it somehow and try again.

This seems kind of insane to be honest, good luck to those attempting it!

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay. We've seen your feedback and made the following adjustments:

### In Game Time:

Runs will now use IGT as the primary timing method. All previous runs have been triple retimed by [Suffergod](https://www.speedrun.com/users/Suffergod) and myself. Of course manual timing will never be flawless so some seconds may have been lost (or gained), so after compiling all the retimes, we calculated the average of each and have submitted them as the final times.  We believe this is the fairest and most consistent way to go about this and will be how we verify runs going forward.

### Categories:

As we are now using IGT, I have removed the Xbox categories and combined all the runs onto a single LB, I hope this allows the board to be more competitive and give more motivation for new runners to send submissions.

### Auto Splitter:

While we do currently have a working auto splitter, we are working on optimizing it and how and when it functions. All the heavy lifting for this is being done by [KinkajouLegend](https://www.speedrun.com/users/KinkajouLegend), so big ups to them as I am absolutely clueless when it comes to the technical side of it. I will release it as a resource when it is ready.

### New Game:

Runs must now start by selecting "New Game". This is to prevent the Desert Run glitch that is triggered in runs that use the "Chapter Select" option. This change will not affect previous runs.
