That is a fantastic idea, one that is far more competitive than the current Score%, which could be renamed to Carried%. Sad that no one even acknowledged that you were on to something...

It's been over a year and this never happened. What the game needs is some fresh new catagories; we can either archive the bad ones or turn them into category extensions. Because using Float Stone Talonflame with an Eject just to score then die may very well be the worst possible gameplay ever. It takes no skill, it's not fun to run, and it does NOT accurately represent the game at that next level. As a player in the competitive scene, this community must change. It's needed to for a year, but right now the mods have this game in a strangle hold and are slowly letting it die. Which is sad because this is an amazing game...

Even if we still followed the current trend for runs (held items, standard battles, etc.), that would still be a ton of fun! I think in under 5 minutes is doable, it would just take some grinding.

Very late to this, but I love the idea. It would work for Rayquaza as well, they would probably just be separate catagories like Theia and Remoat. Unfortunately, the mods don't love this game so oh well.

Also, KO% (# of KO's in a match) and Damage% (Amount of damage dealt in a match) would be great/easy to implement catagories that would have numerous benefits, one being their accessibility. They are easy to submit (being a picture), can be verify quickly (for the same reason), and for that reason it would be a more competitive and thus popular catagory.

I'm glad you think so! Unfortunately I don't think the mods are very interested in new categories or rule changes, so it doesn't really matter. But right after I posted this I took the world record for the Switch, so soon it shouldn't matter (since I scored over 400 points myself). The picture should be out soon since I submitted the run weeks ago.

Update: The moderator is offically active again, so yes.

I think Score% for random matches should be divided into individual and team. I was looking at several of the pictures, and in some of them the person who submitted them was not not the one who scored the most or even second-most points, and yet they still get the record. So hypothetically, you can get hard carried and still get a world record for your troubles, which seems off.
