Hi. Congrats on the run! just wanted to answer your question regarding the PAL-version of gimmick!
The Pal version doesnt have any changes apart from music and slower framerate compared to the Japanese version. And there arent many people running it with only two submissions on the boards. So as of now there isnt a reason to separate the leaderboard based on regions

you can have patterns that are just impossible, like bowser, the best way to not have to deal with them is either play safe or challenge. its easier if you route framerules but since thats not always possible the prevoius options are the best.
waiting for the podoboo to go down doesnt waste too much time so if you are on a really good pace and dont mind loosing like 1 or so seconds then play safe
you did a walljump wich gave Xpos but you also did a backwards bump later wich gave more xpos. im surprised that you got 131 but in terms of lightning 4-2, i dont think that would be enough speed to get the framerule, since you are already doing a wj to get xpos. the best place to do it is the pipe at the end
also you can do fpg in 8-2 just like any level with a flag, its used in the Pacifist WR, its not used in normal any% since bbg saves more time

its recomended to stream your attempts. For my 4:59 run. I did offline attempts since i didn't have a capture card at the moment. I decided to use another camera that i had to record my controller during the sesions. So if you have enough evidece that proves your run to be legitimate as having a history of pb and being grinding for several months you should be fine. If the run doesn't get verified dont get extremly dissapointed and see what can you do to get a run verified.
also theres nothing bad of being wrong with the time you submit. Mods would put the real time and no problem
After watching the run i can confirm is a 5:13. I can't really tell the exact time since i couldn't find the bowser pattern but with frame counting it gives a time of 5:13.8. Frame counting doesn't give you exact time but its 5:13 nonetheless. GG
