We have a channel on the SM63 discord for the other runouw games. You can join it at 0106azhFbCc9eAUuq.
Emulator load time inconsistencies are irrelevant, they don't effect IGT. Unless they do, which would be kinda weird.
We're planning an SM63 Any% Tournament. You can enter at http://challonge.com/sm63any ! We'll probably do other tournaments, but to start we're doing any% as it's the most accessible category. We definitely plan on doing bingo, and perhaps longer categories such as 100% eventually.
Check out the tournament rules & informations on the challonge page.
I can replicate it, it wasn't that hard, but yeah, new strats incoming.
In room 4 there's a way to skip the elevator. I have basically no idea how it works but it saves like 15 seconds.
Since if you PB for TPE in Soulless Pacifist it counts (according to the category rules) does that mean you don't have to fully wipe save data before doing a Pacifist run?
2:55:26, last couple seconds of the run are cut off because OBS crashed.
We're moving 10 star to www.bit.ly/SM63Leaderboard . I was wondering if 9 Star (No Bowser 1 Early / Skip) is too arbitrary and should be kept on the google doc, or if it's reasonable enough to keep it on the leaderboards. http://strawpoll.me/6086312
I'm planning a Super Mario Series 100% Relay. Anyone who is interested can participate. People who actually run games are welcome, especially since I don't run all of them OpieOP http://bombch.us/BpI0
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/mario30th/history/index.html# This is the Super Mario Series, based off an official source from Nintendo. It includes handhelds, excludes Yoshi's Island, and includes Super Mario Maker.
Make it possible to view certain variable options and not others. Basically, say you want to see normal and hard difficulty, but not easy. Make it possible to set it so you can see both normal and hard, instead of only being able to select one at a time.
Maybe you could do this by having a checklist of variables that you can select, like this:
Sorry about using it, didn't realize it was against the rules. I don't see why it is, in any% you should be allowed to use anything. It's also slower, so there's that. But I'll try to get a run without it.
