I ain't paying £40 just to get an updated player database. And besides I'm not bothered if this game doesn't have the most active player base

I guess the simplest categories to implement would be for completing a single game of test/ODI/t20 ?

They can have the same rules as the "FIVE5" category like the difficulty and when you start/stop the timer

Is there a chance of new categories being added?

Such as speedrunning Test, ODI & T20 matches?

Likewise for completing tournaments e.g. world cup (ODI & T20) and the ashes

Or quickest to 50 / 100 ? (suppose you can then do subcategories for each format)

I am sure there are plenty of other ideas out there, would anyone else interested in this?
