If you're running and you press down and W at the same time, you get a high long jump, however in midair it will push you backwards a little bit, it's really weird. I don't know if theres any uses for this trick. Also while doing it, you can't walljump for some reason

Instead of going into the cannon, you can jump on the spring, spin jump, then dive and make it.

I plan on speedrunning sma2 on my ds. But I don’t know because someone drew with pen on my ds so now there’s a random scribble in the top left of my ds. So I was wondering if my runs are valid or not. If you don’t know what I mean, once I do a run I’ll suit so you’ll se what I mean
