Ok so there's a 2 days long testing for pvp mode and I think speedrunning with this would be crazy, you can flood other enemies and then win the game asap or be in a party with your friend and having your friend throwing the game for you so you can get a faster time, basically just hypixel speedruns but in TDS, thoughts?

You can join the team by first joining our discord server, then be active and wait until applications are open, then you can fill in the application It's nearly summer so we're planning to open applications soon, most likely in a few weeks ;)

Have you ever had a speedrun rejected by a verifier? Are you unsure how to submit a correct one? Or did a verifier need to edit your submission because the category was wrong? Here's a simple guide on how to properly submit speedruns.
Uploading the run itself
Please submit your run only on YouTube or Twitch; submissions through any other platforms will get your run rejected. Additionally, make sure that your video is a displayable link.
"What is a displayable link?" For example, you have two YouTube links. If you submit the first link on speedrun.com and it only shows as a link without displaying the video itself, it's not embedded and that is not displayable. However, if the second link you submit shows as an embedded, directly playable video on speedrun.com, and doesn't appear as a hyperlink, then congratulations! It's a displayable link you submitted!
The speedrun itself
Your recording should be stars before wave 1 starts and spans all the way to the end of the final wave with NO CUTS and NO EDITS, meaning if you start your recording after wave 1 starts, your run will be rejected and if your run ends before the victory screen is shown, your run will also be rejected. Additionally, your gameplay must be recorded at the default speed; any alteration in playback speed, either sped up or slowed down, will result in immediate rejection of your run.
Real time vs In Game Time
Real time is the total duration of your recording, and in-game time is the time shown on the victory screen. When you submit a game run, use the in-game time as the main timer. This means you should enter the time from the victory screen into the in-game time section.
For example, you completed a Molten speedrun in 11:18, but your video is 13:05 long because you recorded the time you spent in the lobby, intermissing, map voting, and choosing the game mode, then 11:18 is your accurate in-game time, and 13:05 is the real time, therfore you should put 11:18 in your in-game time box.
Types of Towers
This is a common mistake I see when someone submits a run. If your game involves only non-special towers, then it's a "no special towers" run, you cannot submit it in other categories because you did not use any special towers. That goes for the "no event towers" category, DO NOT submit a record for the "event tower run" category if you didn't use an event tower, your submission will only be valid in the "event tower run" category if it includes at least one event tower.
If you're unsure about what counts as regular towers or special towers, please refer to my other guide thread for more details. You can find it here. Btw consumables & timescale tickets are banned.
