Hopefully this works, whipped together a server a while back but never did anything with it
In terms of raw gameplay perhaps sub 1hr but the overall time definitely needs more tricks imo, I'm praying we can find consistent launches. Would potentially be big for levels like the high school or Shanes hospital level.
Regardless there is a lot to play around with to learn more. Have you tried using the walker at the starton the Shane hospital level to glitch out the main door? If not I'll try tonight (it is midday for me).
I wanted to back when the game came out but the game died pretty quickly, pretty sure the thread is still viewable. If a few runs get done I'll whip something together. Maybe we can work together on our findings if you're interested. Lot of exciting tech that is not even used in the current runs.
Even just makeshift maps with walker locations, skill points, and objectives would be handy.
Best bet right now is just watch runs, level and act runs are also viewable which may be easier to break it up.
Another note - not tested thoroughly but the boundary break is more consistent if both the player and the walker are hugging the fence, you can tell it's worked because the players foot will be on the other side of the fence. So in other words you want to be grabbed with your side to the fence.
With Level 2, just tried it, you can use your boundary break and to fix the issue just reload checkpoint. So you can do all objectives by the police car instead of the linear pathway but it's just about if that time save is faster than a reload but either way may be worth looking into.
With optimisations like the snipe it's something I've considered but frankly when I was doing the level wrs there was no competition so I just focused on finishing the level in a reasonable time then going for stuff like that. You can notice the decline in gameplay if you look through them lmao.
In regards to that particular skip, I'll reinstall the game to try It myself again but off the top of my head there is no legitimate reason.
Great to have someone putting in the legwork for this game, was sad it never got a proper community (though from the game it's easy to see why).
Huh I knew about the axe part but the climbing on top of the crates is painfully simple. Good find.
I mean my original plan was to finish all the level records, then to do the acts, then the full game building myself up to it but I didn't realise there was a checkpoint you can't load back on the walker arena level which meant I had to play through the whole game to get back there so I just uninstalled it lmao
An evolution of the boundary break. Picked the game up for the first time in months, shame it died out quickly.
Only tested on Seed, has no current utility but is worth looking into.
Turn all aim and camera sensitivity to max then turn your back to the door/wall and spam aim. Usually, I have had more success when looking down. I've tested with sniper and pistol with both working.

It's my bad, I literally saw the word resource and started this thread. Appreciate the info.
Yeah absolutely, I'll look into the guides section. As you can tell I'm pretty new to all this. I noticed a lot of little bits and skips that haven't been implemented in some of the later levels so I think it can be of use along with a more general full game resource. Thanks for the response.
Hi! I'd be interested in creating a resource detailing every skip, objective, cutscene etc in the game. However, I'm not exactly sure how one would add this to the resource section or if anyone would be interested in it in the first place. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
