Potentially, I'd have to think about it
I've been running the game on the lowest settings humanly possible and I can't get anywhere nearer to the WR at all. My best is 3:16 and that is without streaming because the game is FPS dependant as the timer will just run and whatever fps your game may be at, the timer doesn't take that into account and just keeps on rolling. Having background apps open will damage the game's framerate but not the timer itself as it is a different element to the game itself. So the game basically gives you a big slap in the face regarding even trying to speedrun the game. I've cleaned my pc with apps I no longer use and yet it is still bugging me that the game's FPS is mandatory to even try get a good time. If anyone has a way to help this or even correct me throughout everything I have said then please do so. I wouldn't want to see any future runners not get anywhere close to the top due to low spec pcs or low framerate.
how do you manage to spam E that fast man?
i've never seen anyone bypass speeches that quickly by spamming space, were you using any tools to help bypass these? because when i was spamming my way through, it was cramping my hands a lot
See Ya Dad is a genuine ending of the game that can be easily done at the very start of the game, but comparing it to quote unquote "sandbox games" like SMO is not a good argument to make. ITP may have a linear story with side quests to get different endings that rank accordingly is nothing like the games you have listed. Sure you can get every collectible and highest score in those games but me personally, you would only ever play Heftin with Hepules unless you are trying to get the 404 Achievement or getting the 3* ending of the game. I've played this game for hours on end and I have barely even touched Helpy's game so there's no point to make a category for a singular arcade game. On top of that, if a category was made for an arcade game within the game itself, the mods would (by assumption) have to make categories for all 8 games which would clutter up the leaderboards and therefore expand their workload by a lot in order to verify and/or reject runs. Not to mention the rules that would apply to each and every category.
streaming rn got a 3:23.84 pb ready for leaderboards
