But this refers more to the decision, to the final calculation of the time in case of a game crash within the level. Since your crash did not occur during the level and everything was recorded, I see no reason not to approve the run.
By the way, when I did my test run with all episodes, the game crashed at exactly the same point.

There was absolutely no need to unmod yourself and make me a mod. I was not a mod before and had no intention of becoming one. I also absolutely understand your motives and want to thank you for verifiying all the runs you've done over the last few months. The only thing that bothers me is that there was no communication from you. So neither before you became a Mod about inactive mods or not verified runs nor after when SR Staff made you a mod. I only see the post in the forum about the "moderation request" which is nothing more than asking if you have a change. In the rules it says "Leaderboards should be viewed as owned by the community and curated by the moderators. A user who requests a leaderboard does not own the leaderboard." Because of this I think mods should only be elected by a democratic decision of the community, or removed for extended absences but also only by the community. In fact, two of the most recently elected moderators were clear miscasts. Our pro gamer Furzikus doesn't feel like it anymore, and Tbyrn21 has always been hard to reach, but that's exactly why we elected new mods. Actually, the vote was just to determine what the part of the community thinks which is active on Sr.com website. So whether they accept the decision over their heads and / or want new elections, as unanimously requested by the other part of the community in Discord. This poll was in no way an attack on you as a person. The only thing missing was part of the function of a moderator involving the community. You can apply to be a moderator just like anyone else in the community. Thanks again for reviewing the many runs.
Since I am now unexpectedly the only mod, even though I never was one and was not elected, we can skip the poll above and go straight to the new elections. As already mentioned, two of the mods have also been offline for months and only Tbyrn21 would be available. The rules reccomend "Leaderboards should aim to have at least 3 active moderators if qualified people are available."
So if you want to become a mod, just write a short application here. But first familiarize yourself with the general site rules https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/site-rules.

About a week ago we received a request in the Wreckfest speedrun discord to add new tracks. When this happened, we found out that the board was taken over by someone else. As can be read here on the forum, the former mods we democratically legitimized were removed without any communication. Possibly they were not on speedrun.com for a long period of time and therefore not accessible. However, they could always be contacted in Discord. Of course mods should always be active on the site, but that may not be possible depending on personal circumstances. Since the new changes were not legitimized by the community, we started a short poll in Discord to see what the members think about it. So basically if the members agree with it and / or want new mod elections. The questions were unanimously answered "no" in terms of accepting the mod change, and there was a unanimous vote for new elections.
I'm posting here to see what the speedrun.com portion of our community thinks.

The timing changes have not been officially implemented yet, but the vote so far looks promising. When the change takes effect, the episodes will be a series of individual levels. For the individual levels I use a visual autosplitter. With the new timing rule can this autosplitter be easily applied to the episode runs as well. If you don’t want to wait for the real Autosplitter you can use this as a workaround. Here is a tutorial:
Step 1: Download Autosplitter. https://github.com/Toufool/Auto-Split#custom-split-image-settings Unzip the file and place it anywhere you want. I think this needs no explanation.
Step 2: Download my Split Images. https://ufile.io/gsnoochw Or ask me on Discord and I send it to you The images are named after the classes and the difficulty. This is necessary because it can happen that one of the images does not reach the similarity threshold to trigger the split if you play a different class or difficulty. In the archive are only the images of classes that I use for WWZ runs. The class images are the 2nd - 4th frame of the level and the generic black screen image is 1st - 2nd frame after the level. So there will be a small difference to the exact time.
Step 3: Set up the autosplitter. Here is a picture of my settings. https://imgur.com/a/EzAxTKZ Just start the autosplitter and WWZ. Click on "Select Window" then click on WWZ and it will take over width and height. "Default similarity threshold": I use 0,97 because the class image reaches only a similarity of 0,96 with a black screen. Changing screens in the menu will not trigger the split if your class image is active. It goes above this threshold only at the beginning of an level. However, this may vary depending on the resolution and may have to be adjusted individually. "Default pause time": Is only important for individual levels. In the IL you have basically 2 images. First the image of the class as your start image and then the end image as a black screen. In some levels like NY4 for example, is not only a black screen after the run but also at the elevator. Therefore, the "Default pause time" must be set to a value that triggers later and makes the 2nd image active after the elevator. 300 seconds are basically sufficient. Set Hotkey for Start / Split must be your Hotkey that you use for Livesplit. Same for the Pause Hotkey.
Step 4: Create folder for the runs and name images. According to the instructions of the autosplitter it accesses the images in alphanumerical order that are in the split image folder. That means the split images have to be named accordingly to make it work. I have created several folders that can be easily switched between. For example for an individual level that I play with Fixer, I use the folder name "Fixer IL easy" in which I put the image "Fixer_easy" and “Black skip screen” from my archive in step 2. The image “Fixer_easy” is named 001_SplitImage and “Black skip screen” is named 002_SplitImage. Same method can be applied to all other classes and difficulties in the individual level category.
For the episode runs are not only 2 images needed but 6 - 8. You also can’t use a "default pause time" because the black screen during a level is at different times. Therefore the times must be entered as custom pause time in [ ] in the split image name according to the instructions of the Autosplitter. Don't worry, I already did that for the first 5 episodes. So far I have only tested NY, I guess the rest will work too.
If we take Episode 1: New York as an example, you only need to create a folder for NY, put in the images of the classes that are used and rename them. Step 5: Use AutoSplit Browse folder and start auto splitter. You can use sub splits as much as you want. The first image starts the autosplitter and the last image splits once. The images in the middle are just for pause and unpause. Be aware that if you use sub splits to keep the last split for the autosplitter. Success!
My LiveSplit time in Episode 1 had only a 2 frame difference at 60 fps (0.032 seconds) compared to the exact timing with a video editing software.
In the rules it says that IGT is used and not RTA. Since I love to drink a few tasty German beers during a speedrun, it's almost impossible to go over 1 1/2 hours without a short break. If the time between chapters doesn't count towards total IGT, are you allowed to wait or does it invalidate the speedrun? If the time between chapters counts towards total IGT, are you allowed to pause somewhere else where a "pause trick" doesn't count? I have seen others pause the game, but just wanted to make sure.

What is the scientific definition of an ultra fast car? Who ever suggested it to you should explain what the definition of an "ultra fast car"is. It is also very important to explain the difference between an A-Class car and and an ultra fast A-Class car. If it's just fast because of a new update we should add a version filter. If they nerf the bulldog in the future we will have a dead category. No, from me with the current explanation.
Forgot to mention that it works for sleeping as well. Unfortunately, the menu glitch is not really precise so over sleeping or over working is possible which could destroy my whole routing. If you click on menu when the day changes so that the result screen disappears, it does sometimes not allow you to fight. It happened to me that I worked on day 11 until day 12 with the glitch but I was only able to do the league fight and not the ultimate fight until day 13.
Menu glitch does also work with Party and Advertisment in Ding Kong section. But as in Russia you will not receive any food production. I would recomend to do this only after the trailer park glitch with 18 energy drinks. You don't get softlocked as in Russia but buying always 7 food and and 7 energy from Apu costs a lot of money.
It does not have a big time save on easy. It just makes the fights faster if you are over trained but the training causes a time loss. On normal or hard it offers completly new strats because you are able to use this glitch to train a specific stat to the next decay threshold. It also makes it possible to play the fame fights as on easy if you can train without stat decay.
