it's good because of its simplistic nature, although its updates since 1.4 (i think) hasn't instilled much of its classic nature, it feels like the blank slate of minecraft with heavy mod usage and admittedly good quality of life improvements/actually putting stuff in the vast "why bother?" biomes. its popular because of its new outlook by the newly furnished community which YouTube has once again supplied the game.
when i joined discord i needed to ditch the name plk23, a name i had on xbox 360 which i was fairly embarrassed to be connected to since everyone was on the xbox hate train. i chose to "parody" a person in my school i looked up to called An Onion, i think we had a fight or something idk. anyway thats how i got the name AMpineapple

I find that multiplayer games that can't be modded or changed to be playable with one person usually go on the wayside when it comes to speedrunning. (valve's portal 2 co op being an exception) My theory is that it's hard to find two people who are competent enough for co operative play and hence isn't as fun as being in full control (which speedrunners really like, see any platformers that utilize total control over your character such as Mario, Celeste, ECT) so my thought on this would be unlikely unless someone goes out of their way to showcase this and make it look at feel like fun.
Cool idea, it'll become more on execution than strats fast but I'd like to see it.

Cool idea, although I don't see that fixing any problem, I can definitely see where that would be useful.
You can do what the runners of old did and just try for your best times and share it with your friends. Aside from that it seems kinda absurd to make that a category.
