theres a power up box at the beginning you can get a speedpower up i got it first try but when i died i got pirate im not sure if this can be minipulated or like if the speed powerup is a guarantee on first entry of the level

You can actually build more speed with loops an example is my 35 EH2

This Has different outcomes of style depending on when you press. im not sure where this can be implemented for time saves and i find its more consistent with tails i could be wrong but this can not be done with knuckles i dont think considering you may have to double press which initiates his glide i could be wrong again ill test it out and edit this once i find that its possible with all 3 characters

Edit: Sonic And Knuckles can be done but knuckles version sucks it doesn't start on the first loop it starts on the second one for EH2 but sonic and tails build speed from first and second

considering this game has been here for a long time i can say everyone has experienced this thing if you hit the clip of a box object or wall you can regain your jumps it has no visual cue so it can just happen like unless you plan it out where when u jump u barely hit the edge of the platform then yea that can work
