Hey! Why aren't there any rules on pick-ups? I feel like that for the individual level leaderboards, pick-ups should be off, as the category seems more like a time trial mode. Say someone gets two batteries in one lap, they're much more likely to get the fastest lap than someone who gets none, which makes it very RNG-heavy. On the other hand, all full runs I've seen so far played with pick-ups on. The rules don't state that being necessary. So does that mean you're allowed to play without pick-ups as well? That might be easier to optimise.
I'd like the Atari ST added as a platform, so I can finally add support for the various platforms for the game I'm moderator of. I asked in the sticky thread meant for it in July, but I haven't received a response.
I am fairly sure I posted a thread, here. But it seems to be gone, now??... Odd. Is anyone active here?
Hello, everyone. I'm working on a run for the Game Boy Advance. And I noticed there are some tricks I can perform with ease on the real system, while I'm having severe trouble in Visual Boy Advance (this extends to VBA-M). Does anyone else experience this? And what could be causing it? Perhaps it's easier to perform frame or pixel perfect tricks on the original hardware, because we're more used to it?
Hello everyone! I'd like to request an Atari ST game to be added, some time soon. Reading the information on doing so:
Moderators for each game are expected to set up categories and settings for the game and verify runs.
How exactly does one 'verify' runs? After all, couldn't somebody TAS something, or stitch a video together by cutting and pasting?
