Hi. I realize that this game might be difficult to get into speedrunning due to how disorganized all the strats/glitches are. They're hard to find and there's no clear walkthrough that includes all useful glitches. So I'm gonna work on some guides for all up-to-date routes/glitches.
There is a lot to do but I hope this will help get more people actively running the game.

honestly I don't think it matters being separate or not I'd rather keep all the emulators in the same thing unless it's really significant or just use bizhawk if possible
Good job I've been asking a lot of people to do it and no one wanted to. I think the time can be down to 19:10 but when I did that on the marathon the recording was messed up due to my settings being wrong for the marathon... I'd have to derust like crazy if I wanted to attempt again.
Instead of starting from hitting start from the menu, timer for individual levels will start the frame the loading screen ends at the beginning of the level in order to incorporate clips from full game runs and to make life generally easier. The current run times and the IL rules will be updated. Thanks to Molotok for the suggestion.

Thanks. I mainly thought it was weird to have it hidden by default on my profile but I forgot about the patch thing... I'm sure people will figure out to downpatch though if they were wanting to get into it.
Can we not have any% as a misc. category. No other game does this.
Run it on any difficult you want. I recommend Easy since (I believe) it decreases enemy damage.

Matt wanted to organize the leaderboard better and I thought I'd do it since he went to bed. I preserved everything, even the text under the submissions. If you notice anything wrong let me know. We'll double check before clearing up the main page.
Another note: we need more people running the game, or at least the same runners from before practicing and improving times. We found a new tech that allows wall clipping in certain places, and we have definitely not found everything yet. Every so often I open the game to look for new things and sometimes I do find something new. It would speed up the process if people helped out.

imo there's too many categories.
FPS manipulation is pretty powerful but only works on weaker systems. Since using external programs isn't allowed, and not everyone has a low-end computer, I'm not allowing speedruns that use low FPS to bypass doors.
