Hi everyone, I guess everyone knows that in a web browser, when you click and release a button then press ENTER (which is permitted) it's a legit auto-clicker in this game. Some are saying 30 CPS. Well, I'm not so sure about that. Load the game in different browsers and test it when the game starts with 0 Autoclippers and empty the first 1000 wires. Just use ENTER on Make paperclips.
The results are :
Opera : 31-35 CPS
Brave : 32-34 CPS
Chrome : 40-42 CPS
Edge : 40-42 CPS
Winner is Edge and Chrome and by quite a lot if you calculate the difference in percentage compared to others. So I would recommend using one or the other. Running latest Windows 11 here and all web browsers latest as of 2025-05-20.
Also, I'm not that sure but I don't think it harms to go in "Keyboard Properties" and you can set Repeat delay and Repeat rate at Short and Fast. If there is a difference, it's really a very short one though.
I asked ChatGPT about a configuration of web browser of Repeat delay and it said there is none.
And that brings me to my second subject, go look at different people starts that goes from 0.25 price per clips to 0.4. First one is Esth with the World Record, he goes from 0.25 to 0.06 without any delay. Also look in Stage 3, he goes from 0 to 6 Combat back and forth multiple times without delay. A simple AHK script with right-click or the Functions Key F1 to F12 could do something like that. Is still permitted? It might not look like a lot but since you are doing it so many multiple times, I think it does make a difference. I haven't tested macOS with Safari, maybe someone can test it?
Next up is Kragnir, going from 0.25 to 0.04 and has a delay, all fine.
Next up is marc999, there is a slight delay, seems fine to me, especially considering you can also click at the same time to give it a little boost.
Next up is ExtraTricky, goes from 0.25 to 0.2 without any delay.
I'm wondering what's up with this delay and what everyone else is thinking? I think it's worth investigating.
So if you are using Edge, using the ENTER key, going from 40-42 CPS and you click at the same time really fast, you are actually going faster than 30 CPS. Is that okay?
Lastly, I think it might be a good thing to raise the Zoom level to 120% in the web browser, make this tiny Run button bigger, I would guess this is legit.
I take it back about the different CPS from different web browsers. No idea how I was able to pull those numbers. I did one more run in Edge and was surprised how I was not hitting the 42 CPS so after the run I did more test and all web browsers are the same (except Firefox like I said before).
All tests are done in Incognito / Private
No TV Out (my computer is plugged into a TV)
Opera : 32-34 CPS
Brave : 31-34 CPS
Chrome : 32-34 CPS
Edge : 31-34 CPS
With TV Out
Opera : 32-34 CPS
Brave : 31-33 CPS
Chrome : 32-35 CPS
Edge : 32-34 CPS
With TV Out + OBS + Snaz

At the end of the day, it's pretty much the same.
