long story short, I've been trying to do True Pacifist Runs but everytime i got Undyne's letter from her date and when to the Lab door to start alphys date, the cutscene doesnt trigger and doesn't keep the door shut therefore softlocking me.
I've been looking everywhere to try to find a reason why this happens but i cant find anything of note. If someone can help me explain why this happens that would be amazing. if it helps in any way i play on Linux 1.001 patch :D
The reason this is happening is because you skipped the cutscene after Mettaton with Alphys at the long elevator door. You need to watch this cutscene or else you can't complete the Alphys date, like you're seeing here.
ah okay that makes a ton more sense, i had a feeling its was because i punch card skipped a certain cutscene in hotland. ill take note of that next time. tysm! :)
