Stupid question but do you think changing the colour of sprites will ever be legal. Do you think changing the colours and not the size of the sprites can be legal? Or would that make speed runs 1: too hard to verify and 2: cheating easier to a certain extent? It would be really cool to do a genocide run with Chara's sprite instead of Frisk's. thx for your time~
never. any and all modifications to the data.win are strictly prohibited in any sense and will never be allowed under any circumstances. Only official versions with official languages and official sprites are allowed. the only reason modifications of the music files, splash.png, etc, are allowed is because they arent apart of the data.win and they also dont really change anything about how the game works, at all.
