Trying to fix capture on OBS.

I'm new to speed running and capturing it (and new to this website,) and I've been testing how things show up on my capture while I'm practicing fights. When I fight Sans, the capture gets blurry and laggy at times when the blasters show up, and I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this and if it will affect if my run if accepted or not if I submit one in the future? (I recorded testing OBS here)

Blurry capture shouldn't affect verification, as long as footage isn't lost. Try messing around with your bitrate settings, and have obs on 30 fps

Okay, I'll try that, thanks :)

Ive noticed the splits are quite small, you can resize them by pressing ¤edit scene¤ in OBS and youll be able to make you splits a little bigger so they can be more visible

That's normal. Due to the way video compression works, having lots of stuff on screen will make compressing that frame more difficult. This effect can be decreased by increasing bitrate (more internet), increasing preset (more CPU) or decreasing framerate (if it's higher than 30, which it shouldn't for Undertale since it runs at 30FPS).
